hello everyone here ..... i need some help from any doc here .... my niece born with myelomeningocele in neck ..so here in algeria we havent who do the operation for here

so i need information about that and if she will be ok after this operation ....i will sent some pictr and scan if any doc need this

mollypop01 im very sorry for your baby,i really have spina bifida but in my country death out of spina bifida is just %2 but if you live it its %100 for you...im very sorry to i made you unhappy....yes spina bifida has 3 kinds and mine is mmc one...i have 2 problems in live:1-i have no job 2-i have no girl friend (there are more problems but i dont mind other them) in my opinion if a man doesnt make fun of himself,life makes fun of himself

omg that poor boy! :( i have Spina bifida as well. i was born with a hole in my back tho. its amazing how well he does after the surgery! :)

I to was born with spina bifida. i have heard there are 3 types now. one with the shunt 2nd is the shunt and a walker. then there is the 3rd type which is much severe you have to be in a wheelchair. thank god for the doctors at henry ford. i am one of the lucky one. the doctors always gave me the worst senarios but i always pulled thru. as of this little boy i wish him all the best.

Man, it is a total miracle that he could feel his legs. I have spina bifida also. I have a very mild form and except for my feet going numb sometimes, I have full sensation... but most people with spina bifida that I know have little to no feeling in their waist down. I guess I was wrong at thinking severe SB would mean he couldn't walk. I love this story! God Bless You, Moneev (not sure if that's right) and family!

it hurts 2 c this my baby has spine abifida shes 1 n i love her all the same shes normal n of course had surgery wen she 1st came out n the doctors say she will b able 2 walk i am so happy

my nephew had a spina bifida too meningomyelocele, sad to say like mollypop01's baby, he passed away he only lived 5 days... it's really sad...

well, if you really have spina bifida.. you probably know there are 3 types, and maybe you have a less severe type. Its really not funny.. I lost a baby due to spina bifida. I used to pray and pray that she would live, but she didnt.

@MollyPop01 i'm sooo sorry to hear of ur loss! i have Spina bifida, and untill recently when i started researching a little about it online, i had no clue how deadly it could get! and even more so how deadly Hydrocepholous is (wich 90% of people born with spina bifida also have hydrocepholous). and i have learned just how lucky i am to be alive! again SOOO sorry to hear about ur loss! that must have been a terrible thing to go thru and i couldnt even begin to imagine!
