  • It is good to see you back... your videos have taught me more than any other. Keep up the great work!

Can you please do videos about backhand and forehand looping?

  • nice video but the vid u showed in the beginning it looks kinda like a punch

  • Good "blocks" players are able to add a very good "variation" in their blocks...defensive blocks, absorbing blocks, offensive blocks (as you can see in the good video of lovett9x) and even "backspin" blocks (this one is difficult to realise and needs a lot of practise)

  • @TTPAT25 backspin block quite frequently used by Ma Lin, mostly pips + penhold players but sometimes timo boll also does it

  • @Lovett9x Yeah, sure its because of his type of game, penholder "closed" to the table that oblige him to give this response when the ball is coming to his backhand at the opposite of players like XuXin or WangHao, penholders more far away from the table using more counter-topspins with their backhand. But MaLin is a..."master" in backhand blocks with a great variation and placement especially his killing very short absorbing block!! Btw congrats for great videos!! :)

  • It depends first of your own style of play (offensive or defensive player)!! But against topspins with much "rising" spin, the block is the best response (defensive block or offensive block or counterattack)! The other good response is to get back from the table and to do a "counter-topspin"!! And to give a response to topspins with a "backspin" its better to be in a defensive type of play and to "chop" the ball far away from the table!! According to your own style pf play!!

  • do some flick video

  • which one is better? Backhand block or backhand push?
