This film was taken at the harbour of Norrköping, Sweden. It starts with the Hollies, shaken and stirred, coming out of a container all the way from GB. Quite funny actually.

@OysterLava I don't think it got much airplay in the U.S., but it was released as a single in some European countries and went to #1 in Sweden.

@OysterLava Yes...Peter,Paul and Mary's version got lots of airplay in 1963. That's how I came to know it.

@OysterLava - Hello. I just stumbled onto this. It probably didn't get much airplay because it is a folk song written by Noel Paul Stookey & Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul & Mary fame. The folk version was minus the typically excellent guitar solo by Tony Hicks. Like Peter, Paul & Mary, the Hollies also recorded "When The Ship Comes In" written by Bob Dylan. Both groups had skilled harmonies, don't you think? Peace.

Oh, I have not heard this song already for many years any more - can remind me still of the fact that I took him as a teenager with my cassette recorder of the broadcasting "Club-Wunschkonzert" in the 80s of the German radio station NDR 2 on tape recorder cassette. "Very last day" is a cool beat song with a shot to psychedelic and great text. Many thanks for Upload of this song. Congratulations to the Hollies for the choice in the Rock'n'Roll hall of fame also, for my part, Germany.

This song I believe, and i mean really mean believe, is one of the finest ever written and composed. Voices are shining, the "game" of the guitars is perfect Rock and the general mood is happy, despite to the heaviness of the lyrics. All of this song leads the listener to pure joy. I bought a double Lp in 1978, a Hollies collection, and I still listen to it with great pleasure. Great song, great!
