if you are going to buy it, i reccomend you buy it for the PC, there are hardly ANY people online in the console versions. so you'll just be playing with like one guy on the enemy team, and everyone else is just bots.... other than that, when you actually do find a full game it's down-right fun!

Oh and the game looks absolutely stunning. The graphics are great and it runs like lightening on a AMD x4 840 with 4 Gigs or DDR2 and a GTX560ti. I'm getting a between 73 and 56 FPS constantly with everything maxed at 1920x1200 with AA on as well. I really enjoy this though so far I'm not seeing that many levels but I've only been playing it for a few hours. Get the package with all the DLC for and extra $1.25. The only other problem I have is all the new players don't help their team out. AMMO!

I concur with rhyscw01, I haven't noticed any of these mentioned problems. Playing free on Steam and really enjoying it. Going to buy the complete pack for $6.25. One thing is there seems to be an issue with vysnc on cause stuttering for me at least. Some say its the other way around. For me vsync off works great and don't really get any tearing except in the cutscenes but not too bad. Also if mouse is jerky try enabling raw input and smoothing on or off. Smoothin really didn't hurt my scores.

I think Splash Damage should take another shot at Brink. Make an alternate story, but fix all the problems and keep the gameplay the same. The game looks really awesome, creative and cool graphics, and the S.M.A.R.T. movement is pretty cool

The only reason that people bash on this game cause it had a bad launch. But in the end they worked this out. I say give the game a second review and that goes for IGN and Gamespot.

every once in a while a game comes out that's so horrible that it makes bad games look fantastic in comparison, brink makes those games look good. the AI is literally the worst I've seen in my life, I've been a gamer since 1997 and in all my years, this is the rock bottom worst I've ever seen in terms of AI. the character design is pathetic, ''SMART'' is literally just a sprint button. brink is truly the worst game I've played this generation.

I think every single problem mentioned has been fixed in Brink lol. The review was pretty inaccurate anyway. I had it the day it was released and when I watched this video I was completely confused. I agreed with the online lag problem, but that's been sorted now. Everything else he said was untrue in my opinion. I found the movement very smooth and the AI was pretty realistic (if you compare it to an average Call of Duty player). Basically, almost every fault mentioned on this video is fine now

Bought this game literally about 2 weeks ago and I have found that most of (if not all) the major problems have been ironed out and it is now a really fun game to play. Both online and off. I have not noticed any of these supposed `problems` with the AI and I would really recommend this game

I've heard all about it being like TF2 and Battlefield with parkour. Battlefield, maybe. parkour, yes but badly underdeveloped. TF2, I never felt like it had TF2 element while playing it. Also they don't release any updates that fix major problems (and I mean huge problems that greatly reduce gameplay experience). Basically I wish I didn't pay what I did for it and if you haven't bought it yet, wait until it goes down $20 or less.

just putting it out there this game sucks it's litealy a rip off of team fortress 2 classes are the same abilities are the same and there's no difference like the engineer he builds turrets , teleporters and dispensers for health and ammo and upgrades turrets. to can customize any class with different looks again like tf2 and you can jump higher with light classes like the scout from tf2 and the spy he can use camo or disquise himself like any other person like tf2 medics heal people like tf2

I think this game is really fun. I got it because of the Free Weekend on Steam and the lag is gone. It's a fun game and it's pretty interesting and different from other games. Also I haven't had any problems with the parkour system at all. It works fine for me.
