I don't think that the second show was ever shown in the United States. The first was shown on PBS in Washington, DC, and it caused quite a bit of controversy. No-one was going to touch the second one after that.
I spent two weeks in London during Queen Elizabeth's Silver Jubilee, and, whilst I was there, I made sure that I picked up the vinyl records of both "Rock Follies" and "Rock Follies of '77." After all this time, the music still has a punch to it with its sharp, clever lyrics.
this is a great episode. The song is perfomed two more times: each time it is performed you see Anna, then Q, become overshadowed by the lead singers and drop out of the performance.
great stuff - and Sue Jones Davies is just amazing!
