Please respect the Strait's family's privacy. This is why they (and other celebrities who are less well known to vacation here by the general public) come here. The Strait's are all great people who just want to be able to relax in Rockport like everyone else. Growing up and working here, citizens in Rockport (for the most part) respect their privacy, please give them the same courtesy that you would want.

We are visiting Rockport from Ashland, WI and we met some people who said they are neighbors of Georges here in Key Allegra. And these people said that George and his family are wonderful neighbors!

actually, i was born and raised in rockport tx, and have found that all the people that i went to school with that bitched about the "drama" involved with the town, were actually more involved with it than anything else. It's a very beautiful town, LOTS of history (ask mr. jackson) and great fishing. And yes George Strait does live there, he's kinda rude, but i don't blame him. His yacht named "Day Money" is pretty cool. Rent a house boat on 4th of july and you'll see him in the bay.

I was in Rockport a couple weeks ago to visit my dad and he told me that George Straight had a beach house there. I was,"WHAT?! I WANNA FIND IT!" But we never did.

rockport is a nice area. been there lots of times. theres a concrete wall behind a dancehall in fulton that my family and i go fish at before getting into rockport. george strait also has got a house at the dominion here in san antonio. the area is guarded. your only alowed in if your invited by the home owner or the real estate agent.  also near the end of my mothers paper rout theres a small ranch that is known that george may own just outside east of san antonio.
