  • ...and X-Box...

  • LOL. I played the PS and DC on that thing and sold it for $50 some 7 years ago.

  • I bought this at EB in 1998; crazy thing to see that I once played games on a 13" TV.

  • I have this same TV, and like hes says, its amazing. He should of mentioned in the video how loud he had it, because you will never need to go above half of the volume meter. Also don't ever turn it to half with half life 2 and your head between the speakers. I learned the hard way when my friend started firing the assault rifle...

  • @gmrzilla Yeah bro! It goes way loud and more than half way is like pounding. 90 percent of lcd screens nowadays dont come with a sound system like these.

  • @syphic Yep, unless you are wanting to impress your friends, you won't ever need to go above a sixth

  • CHECK out my gx tv could you guys post some video on your tv would be nice

  • I still got mine, and play everything on it. Mostly fighters.

  • @patrickbateman00

my mom almost toss my tv out to the trash last week, i had to tell her its a classic,

  • I have one of these. My brother got it for a gift back in 97 or 98. It was bought at Funcoland.

  • it same same year and moth my toshiba tv/vcr combo

  • I just got one today. The Picture is good. Good for a 13 inch crt; But the SOUND is weird good. I don't know what they used for the sound yet; but it is good. I haven't heard old games sound like this before. What on earth does this thing have that normal surround sound receivers don't?

  • @techstormster I know what you mean!! It made me literally retry all of my old games!!

  • I had this TV monitor back in the day and overall I liked it, specially the sound quality. What really annoyed me was the fact that Samsung didn't include an S-Video connection on it, or even better, the superior Scart connection used in Europe and Japan. Glad you posted this, as I also wasn't able to find any reviews about this TV model on YouTube.

  • Wow! I remember this TV when they sold it at the Wiz, nice grab on this! = )

  • Thats one hell of a tv pickup, wierd looking thing there, nice pickup

  • Nice pickups!

  • Looks great and the sound is coming through well in the video. You can't beat all those features in one unit. I remember the print ads for it and saw some demo units, I think it would have sold better had the price been a bit lower since I could never afford one back in the day. :)

  • I couldnt remember seeing this in magazines in the 90s all the time. I could easily see it being a great solution for older systems but for dreamcast nothing beats hooking the system up to a crt computer monitor with a vga box for 480p graphics, the graphics never could look smoother.

  • @gamemaster14neo I know. I have a vga box for my dreamcast but this overview is on how systems look on this tv.

  • Looks like a boombox/tv nice pick up....

  • I actually picked one of these up at goodwill some months back, for $20, no swivel stand or control though :( That bummed me out a lil but i am extremely happy with my gaming xtreme (gx) television. retro games look better on there than on my sharp led!!!!!

  • A 15 year old girl holds hands with her 1 year old son. People call her a slut, no one knows she was raped at 13. People call another Guy fat. No one knows he has a serious disease causing him to be overweight . People call an old man ugly. No one knew he had a serious injury to his face while fighting for our country in the war.People call a women bald but they don't know she has cancer Re-post this if you are against bullying and stereotyping. I bet 95% of you won't do it

  • that Tv is pretty badass! sounds loud as hell! lol. damn i want one now! is that the only size they came in? Picture Quality look really nice on it.

  • I remember seeing these all over. Almost everyone of the game stores had one of these set up. Half the time they were broken, as kids would hang from the speaker doors, etc. I always thought they were pretty cool, especially now. Awesome pickup. I never really wanted one, though. I had a 32" Toshiba (parents old one) and a kick ass Kenwood system!!

  • I picked this up at goodwill for 10 bucks and it sounds good I wish I had the remote.I have my Master system hooked up to it.

  • Oh man those units were awesome i remember seeing them back in the day at the stores but they were quite pricey .but they were the closest to what a gamer could get for awesome sound for the consoles. 98 yeah remember seeing them on Diehard mag n game players those were the awesome days, nice find man nice find indeed.

  • Very Cool. I remember seeing the ads in magazines for it. Nice pickup.
