even with that, these pro's have been playing since they were kids, and to be able to generate that kind of power on a backhand smash is ridiculous. it requires a lot of wrist strength and a lot of practice, but more importantly, very good coaching!

it's not about strenth, but Taufik is getting old, and he has a wife and a child, he's not as worried about winning games anymore, that's why you don't see him compete in many tournaments, he only competes in major ones.
