Actually no, there is a way to get them early, but you need to use the mock ball, or whatever its called.

the first boss you used the green plant if you go in the far right (the right or left doesn't matter just not on the bottom) platform and ball up in corner u can just sit there nothing will hit you PERIOD all spores will miss and so with the boss you can just wait there till it opens up just make sure its not the bottom platform it has to be on one of the two upper platforms

It takes longer to kill ridley with missiles than it does with charge beam so always use charge beam on ridley. Its like this on every metroid game when you fight ridley.

(except for metroid prime and when you fight mecha ridley on metroid zero mission)

To dodge Phantoon's blue fireball 'wave', you need not do the pseudo screw attack! You can just go into morph ball and roll to the side (i.e.: 2:59, just roll to the left corner, then the right, and repeat that.) It's what I did, I killed him faster than usual, too!

Its a reserve tank, when Samus' health reaches zero it will restore her health by how much you have in the reserve tanks, you can also use it in the pause menu which saves time in speedruns.

you can get it on a ds, you need a slot 1 flashcard. if you have on you need to put the snes emulator "SNEmulDS" on the flashcar with te SNES games in a floder called SNES. then you can play SNES games on your ds. i just finished super metroid on my ds, and filmed the mother brain battle.

I didn't put them in because they didn't have their own boss music, and the only reason Phantoon was in there was because I quick killed Kraid. Kraid, Ridley, Spore Spawn, Botwoon and, Mother Brain had their own theme music. Draygon didn't have his own theme music, it was Ridleys theme
