It's not faster in a straight line than an R32, it's not even MUCH faster in a straight line than a golf GTI. But it is quick through corners, and yes it sounds (in my opinion) better than about any other hot hatchback out there :p

@norra124 Did someone mention a VW *yawn* golf ? lol Had a golf and will never again, so dull. TBF though the 0-60 times say very little about the performance of a car, the torque of the R32/ Gti will be what makes them feel fast. Why waste your money on VW though. may as well save the cash and get the Seat Leon - does everything the VW does but cheaper !
