Sorry I have not answered you in such a long time. No good excuses, just work and .... you know. Anyway....I'm so happy to see you're still active. At least last I checked you were. Hope you are doing well. As I work in the hospital, I think of you often, even though we don't know each other, but we do share a heritage and a name! :)
I am sincerely sorry for that, I hate the idea that there are others going through this. Perhaps you and your would be open to connecting with me so as to try to resolve some of the major concerns that arise from this. . While I know this is difficult for you as an observer, you cannot begin to know what we think and thus, it becomes important to connect with others who have MND. Please consider this. warmest regards.
Oh no, i know that i cant even begin to know how you feel and think. All i was saying was that your video just hit close to home. i would love to connect with you and hear what you have to say. Thank you for making these videos.
Wishing you peace. Stay tough- I will be passing your video on to many people so they will realize how urgently we need a cure. I am praying for you and sending good energy your way.
I stumbled upon your videos accidentally as I was searching videos for a research project my kids are doing for school. Your name caught my eye and your story caught my heart. So...I just wanted to tell you to keep smiling and that I admire your spirit. You are right, life is too short to waste so keep fighting because your fight might just save someone else's life in the future!
Thank you for the well wishes, I enjoy each and every one of them ( just gives me that bit of nunging foward) because then I know this is not for nothing. As it is now, I am back in Hospital, unrelated to ALS but still threatening. I have been here a week so far :( but I am a touch cookie!!!
I hope you are doing better by now! If I'm correct judging by your name, you are Hungarian. If that is the case...well, of course you are a tough cookie. If you are not a Hun, you are still a tough cookie because I don't know if I'd be able to keep my spirits up as well as you are! Get Better OK?
Yes I am hungarian, I have been practicing the hungarian language and I got really good at it. I am still in hospital, going on my 3rd week, I sure hope I can get out soon :) still being a tough cookie!!
Get out of that place already! No matter how nice it is in there, the food has got to be killing you! You need some stuffed cabbage and real gulyas! Keep in touch as you feel up to it! Hope you are OK! Kriszti
I finally got out of the hospital on June 2 2008, I was there for 9 weeks and even after I got home, still needed some time to recover. It is now June 27 and I am feeling stronger with energy, I can stay awake longer LOL. Thank you so much for your best wishes, it kept me going, not just yours but all of them. My goal is to let everyone understand that even with this illness, I can still maintain my dignity even though I become more dependent on others. Thank you :)
Do not let your fear keep you from living...Whether you develope ALS, live now because you can. I do have my mom here with me, my family was left behind in the USA while I came back to Canada to get better midical care. My home and heart is there. I am now a stranger in my own country. But all bad things have a good end..if it is not good, it is not the end. REMEMBER THAT!
I send u a pray form Norway. I cant say that i hope u get well, but what i can say is, that i hope u live every day at its full, wiht your family and your boyfriend. Let each day be like the last, enjoy times as muc as u can, and i hope we can beat this decise in the future. My very best to u.
You obviously know that with this there is no getting well, not yet anyway. I really appreciate your best intentions though. I am going to keep fighting as hard as I can because as I have said, I am not ready to shut up yet! Distance is what is keeping me from my family now as I relocated and left everyone back in ND but we use the webcam. thanks again for your support
Krisztina, this is leslie's mom..and I have just watched your videos. You are awesome and a miracle because you are so willing to share your difficult journey with us. That takes more courage than I could ever hope to have. Continue to fight as long as you can. You are in my prayers. God bless you and keep you, may His face shine upon you and give you peace. Sincerely, Kathy

The optimistic way in which you explain your experience with this illness is a very great side of your personality, especially your smile at the end!
