To be honest, and speaking objectively, I don't think she sounded good at all here. The booing wasn't out of place as such - it's what people do in these kinds of shows when things don't sound good. While there was booing it certainly wasn't vicious, and it abated quickly enough. However, this proves that with hard work anyone can improve, as Lauryn became an incredible singer with one of the most unique and original voices I've heard in a long time. This, my friends, is inspiration.
