  • The lead singer in White Heart has an awesome voice Plus a great song

  • Christian or not, a great band, as are Iona. I trawled the Christian band area just to try and find some different artists that could not be found in the usual listings and once you get passed all the tacky praise stuff you can find some proper groups, who happen to be christians who produce some good music.

  • Rick has that long lean Johnny Depp build! he's still hot! sorry, but tons of girls crushed on Rick! I still do!

  • Rick and Mark are such nice guys!!! Rick has such a clean and gorgeous voice! -So gifted! So glad I could find their music on iTunes!!!! -I listen to this song every time I'm down and it lifts me up! thank you for posting this vid! brings back good memories!!! :)

  • White Heart is my favorite Christian group when I first started listening to Christian music. Still is one of my favorites after 20 years. Great band, great music - never gets old.

  • ¡¡¡MASTERS!!! ¡¡¡GOD BLESS!!!

  • Had to listen to this one again to get my fix from it. The vocal effect with long delay just really works well, and the lush keyboard textures help transport me to an alternate reality, the one that juliewolff777 was reminiscing about, I think.

  • After giving this a fresh listen, I realized how much I like the bass part on this. That coupled with the acoustic guitar really knocks it out of the park. There is just so much to like about this song. I think it's one of their all-time best.

  • back then i had a cd player....but would still buy tapes.....cause they were cheaper....for 20 bucks i could get 1 15 dollar cd....or 2 10 dollar tapes.....2 is better then one!!!

  • I miss them, and all the Christian rock from late 80's to early 90's. Petra and White Heart were great, I also miss Dakoda Motor Company. What happened to Christian rock, by the way? All I ever hear on the radio around here is "praise" music that is copied over and over and over. It drives me insane so I can't listen to it.

  • this song has great sentimental value for me. the first time I ever asked a woman for a dance, this was the song we danced to .... it was at a valentine's dance sponsored by my university's chapter of Campus Crusade for Christ, in 1994.

  • this sound brings back to the times of early being a christian and the painful release that was really needed.

  • This was my first Whiteheart album. I got it just two years ago from my Spanish teacher. And I fell in love with Whiteheart

  • UNCHAINED..IS MY HEART!! & IT'S NOT A LOVE THAT WILL LOSE..JESUS LOVES ALL WHO..SIN! BREAK FREE & BELIEVE!!

  • Great Album of songs

  • It has been long while since I have heard a solid Christian band. I sitll dust off my old tapes and CD's from the 80's and early 90's Christian bands.

  • Happy Memories here!!! Time Flys...They were great and seen them several times!

  • How can a band with so many number 1 hits be left with no dove awards? This video was even rated the #1 video of 1992 and it didn't even win best video. The whole Christian music world still makes them pay for Scott Douglas.

  • White Heart were one of the christian bands that I still listen too... Today christian music is .. well it is what it is..

  • They don't make music like this anymore, sad.

  • My favorite song by Whiteheart. Love the message!

  • they are such nice guys!!!! I love them! plus they're hot! ;-)

  • my second favorite white heart song(second to independance day)

  • This came out in '93. I'll be the first to admit, when it comes to Christian music, to this day I'm "stuck in the 90's"! The entire decade had IMO the greatest variety of GREAT Christian hits!

  • One of my favorite Whiteheart songs I love this great christian band and I knew them and I miss them....

  • I love WhiteHeart! Their music really touches my heart. This song and Desert Rose are my all time favorites! Thanks so very much for posting.

  • great song

  • this is one of the songs I remember from when iw as around 11 years old (20 years ago). I always thought this was a gifted band, now that I listen to lyrics as well as incredibly played musical instruments, it has a very powerfull message. I am just so uplifted when I hear this. It reminds me that our heavanly Father is always here, and whatever bondages we have, God can and will deliver and break those chains. God is so amazing to put a message through this music.

  • Its ashamed the generation of young people now have no serious good music to listen to! I still crank these guys up while driving...giving the rappers a run for their money. Just my opinion, but these guys are still the best!

  • I wish these guys were back, they were extremely talented and devoted. My life is blessed just to hear these songs. God used and still use them.

  • Every Time I listen to this Song I get Goose Bumps

  • I just love the message in this video.

  • Whiteheart definitely my ATF Christian band. Grew up listening to them in college at Taylor University in Indiana. I was not a Christian when I got to Taylor and was introduced to Christian music there.

  • My favourite WH song.

  • This used to be my all time favorite song, flat out amazing song.

  • Loved them as well,them WhiteCross,Idle Cure,Shout

  • does anyone else miss the good days of christian music of the 80's or am i just being nastalgic?

  • Yes, I miss the good days of Christian music like Whiteheart, Petra, and so many others. The music then inspired me and you could understand the lyrics

in general. It was a great era for Christian music

  • @bwschmidt1 I am part guitarist, part computer programmer, but 1000% CHRISTIAN, and I have decided today to devote the rest of my life to using my talents to worship GOD. Pray for me, this world needs another revolution of people who are not afraid to stand up and SPEAK HIS NAME!!

  • @mbbreit Praise GOD! Amen dude! :D The LORD will bless you so much more!

  • @juliewolff777 No, you are not just being nostalgic at all. I miss those days too. Such great music with great messages. Not to belittle today's artists, though. I just grew up in Christ so much with the "old school" playing in the background of my life.

  • @moonglum123 Ahhhhhhhhhhhh it is truly great to have such great musical saints with a great message that can be heard instead of all the newer noise.

  • @juliewolff777 How many moderns bands do you know that call themselves Christian, AND actually sing about CHRIST? You've not just being nostalgic, you are feeling the pain of a world which is becoming more and more Godless every day, year, decade. And don't worry if your love of openly Christian bands from the 80's makes you feel old. God is an eternity old, and he's not showing any signs of aging! ;-)

  • @juliewolff777

It created another way for christians to insulate themselves from the real world... and so cease to effect it. Fail.

    Still, some good music

  • @metalpsalm i think you have a point there. i love these old christian rock songs but they did cause many to live outside of the great commision with a nice warm fuzzy for themselves. we must learn from it. Rock on. :)

  • @juliewolff777 It's not just you (: These guys were the best!!

  • @juliewolff777 actually both and i am 101 percent with ya there

  • @juliewolff777 I think that old music has a lot more meaning than all this new junk they are spewing out of the media, because the older stuff, for one, seemed to have more feeling, and two, I like how they are based upon, and include even, bible scriptures. Simply amazing.

  • @juliewolff777 Something definitely has changed. I can't put my finger on it. Maybe when all the secular companies started buying out the old standard recording companies, i.e. Myrrh, StarSong, Sparrow, Word etc. - maybe that was it. If Christian music is played for money, rather than for the Gospel, it's not going to be the same.

  • @juliewolff777 nah i miss it too

  • You are definitely NOT alone!!

  • @juliewolff777

no. I miss it too. I was just a kid at the time. I grew up more during the 90's, I continued to listen to 80's music. never got tired of it.

  • @juliewolff777 check out sntradio.com... a great mix of the last 40 years of chistian music. Very cool

  • @juliewolff777 i miss them.......all music was better back then.....

  • Having seen them on 3 or 4 tours,White Heart never failed to uplift my spirits! I worked security for Atl.Fest,so i got to meet all kinds of bands! Those were the days...

  • Heart Attack tour!! We went to that one too! Good times (:

  • My Aunt and Uncle took me to go see em when they are on tour with maylon lafever and broken heart .

  • My Aunt fron Chicago turned me on to the Highlander album many moons ago...nice to see and hear them!

  • i saw them in 1987 or 88 at an event called "Fishnet"

  • ***This song helped me too. I probably listened/sang to it about 1 million times, give or take. "Unchain my life..." *~*

  • I used to scream this song at the top of my lungs while cutting the grass during my separation/divorce. Whew. Hope the neighbors didn't hate me. Whiteheart's songs have strengthened me throughout my life.

  • this came to me in my spirit today...Oct.1st...blessings all, Layna - LaynaLand Yahoo Group Site.

  • Loved this album

  • Florian graduated from Taylor University in Upland, IN about 1 year before I got there myself. I saw Whiteheart perform at Taylor and they were a great live band.

  • I feel back to my teen years.

  • Meeeeeee too.

  • in top 10 all-time..... God bless

  • quality music, quality performance

  • This brings tears to my eyes....I used to play Whiteheart's music in the lates 80s at a Christian radio station...they were awesome! Im so grateful I had the opportunity to see them in concert and know their music..still have some of their albums(not cds)

as far as I'm concerned Whiteheart's music is some of the greatest music ever made..

  • my vocals can't even keep up with this song....Rick's range is amazing!!!

  • Rick is a stud

  • i listen 2 white heart, white cross, petra, carmen and bride. all r great groups and singers

  • @shadykb That's CarMAN.

  • I grew up exposed to white heart and alot of other christian rock bands from the late 70s and early 80's ... its nice to hear something familiar again, I've never met anyone my age who has heard of them

  • He whom the Son has set free shall be free indeed!

  • Very powerful ... I need unchained by the light... let the doubt and the darkness fall from my eyes...

  • IMO. a very talented band, period, Christian or not. I have several of their albums. Great music! This has always been one of my favorites.

  • If you Christian freaks wonder where you can find lots of more Christian music I can help you with that hehe :) Tonight I download Michael W Smith and his concert in Holland in 2007 :) I'm not stupid and I know where I can find what I needed as Christian music and concerts I needed for my collection :) I have earlier tonight listening to Whiteheart's album Freedom :) But I like Tales of Wonder and Highlands too :)

  • I've got this song on a mix tape of songs I recorded off the radio. Good to hear it in slightly better quality as the tape is wearing out.

  • Do you have any other videos from the Tales of Wonder album?? It was a great one.
