You just show your blindness. Christians ARE right in the effects of hate crime legislation. Your post is vacuous, empty, and diverts from the reality of what can happen here, which has already happened in other countries.
I think, to use 'bigot' the way you did, YOU are an anti-Christian 'bigot'. I am NOT a Christian, BTW. Just know enough to know how poor your non-reply is.

Occupational religionists (pulpiteers) object to Federal Hate Crimes legislation for one reason & one reason only: vested pecuniary interest.
Anti-gay tirades are never meant to call the members of a particular congregation to repentance for their own sins- they are made in order to stir base, irrational passions and increase the weekly collection plate take.
Fleecing the sheeple and hiding behind tax exempt status: that's their "gospel".

how convenient that they never talk about abolishing the laws on the books, that make it a hate crime to target christians..... only when adding gay people to the list seems to cause the problem.
i have never met a former gay person, but i have met hundreds of former christians... religion is much more mutable than sexual orientation....
i'm amazed at how adept christians are are bearing false witness! god bless them!

There's no common sense in holding back a person's natural feelings. If you're gay, you're gay, regardless of what house hold you grow up in. It's just a matter of feeling comfortable in that setting to let it be known. Your sexual orientation does not come from setting.

Homosexuality came around long before the standard nuclear family that is being said to have broken down and leads to homosexuality in this video. It makes no sense.

I think the point is that fewer homosexuals come from a nuclear family. Generally from a single mother, head of household. Doesn't throw aspersions, but just facts. The new and popular liberal view is that if you can find even one anomaly then it negates the preponderance of the evidence. It's all an agenda to throw commonsense aside since it exposes the truth. Why is that necessary? I think we all know... both the deceivers and those that are honest know.
