I have been watching this video from time to time... because of its content with combination of music!! Can you please tell me the tracks used in this?
yes surfgirl24 but there are good scuba accident sites on the web too. try the myscubastory site. They have all sorts of dive stories and accident videos there. type myscubasory into google and its the first one. enjoy!
@MrDampkring In my professional opinion as a nobody, Koh Tao isn't really too much about the beach, more about diving. But there are some good ones. If you venture to the south bit of the island, Shark Bay has a beautiful beach. The main beach in Sairee seems to be good somedays, then overwhelmed with connies and beer bottles on other days...
@monkeetime Thanks. I really want to do some diving but I found out today that maybe it's not a good idea if you are asthmatic. Thing is I do regular cardio exercise like 3/4 times a week. So im gonna go see a doctor and find out if I can, if not will have to just live with snorkeling. Shame really because I was really looking forward to diving.
@MrDampkring If your fit then there is no need to worry about your asthma. that is unless you have stress induced asthma and did not enjoy your diving.
I am hoping to travel to Koh Tao next year - can you give me any insight as to which part of the island is best for a quiet place to stay. a bit upscale but not too expensive. not a lot of students partying. Just want some peace & quiet and excellent diving.
@king4evans fi agree with you totally.accomadation is a great place, with friendly diving instructors was there last year for a few days and loved it..would recomend Koh Tao for sure.great video
Diving licens is taken with scuba diving equipment. It's usualli a four days course. If you dont know what I'm talking about why even try to answer my question.
I lived/worked in Koh Tao for 2 years at Koh Tao Resort on Chalok Baan Kow. (formerly Koh Tao Cottage) I wish I'd never left. It was that monthly trip to Myanmar that was driving me nuts. What lovely people. The best 2 years of my life. Diving daily didn't hurt!
monthly trip for VISA runs? i'm going to Koh Tao before leaving Thailand. i want to try that Diving certifcation program out. keep hearing great things about it =)
Yes monthly trips. You must stamp out Thailand every 30 days. It's no big deal once you get to the boarder. Only takes a few minutes. A few tips for Koh Tao. ALL dive shops have the same prices to get certified. Don't be fooled by the "touts" when you get off the boat. If you like to be around many people, stay on Sairee Beach. All the nightclubs are on Sairee. Stay on Chalok Baan Kow if you want it a bit quiet. Rent a motorbike 1st thing. Have a great time!!! I'm green with envy.
