What type of bat is this? It's huge!

This actually looks like an animal close-up tourist attraction in Bali. She isn't "shaking" the bat, she's bouncing him, like you might bounce a child on your knee. The bat is exercising his wings. I don't personally agree with this type of attraction simply because as tourists in a foreign country we are not often equipped to verify that it is an accredited rescue or rehab that is successfully regulated. The only "maltreatment" in this video is possibly the nocturnal animals in daylight.

@rubymimosa There are species of fruit bats who are not nocturnal, because they don't need to fly around at night, looking for fruit to eat. Most bats that are nocturnal need to be so they can eat insects. I'm sure if these attractions were stressing the bats out, they wouldn't do such a thing.
