Just a thought. You said your pack was "really heavy" the last time. WHen going on a day hike, instead of taking the whole package of soup and rice (you used only half) if you placed one sering in a zip lock bag before going it would be lighter on your back. Also your bottle looked heavy and insulated. I would trade if for a 1 liter plastic pop bottle. Very light and green too. Just a thought. I know lots of viewers like to lighten their load and you seem to have a following. Nice video anyway.
I wish you could make a video showing the features of the tarp. That is what I was interested in seeing when I clicked on the link from your site. How many tie outs are there? Are there tie outs in the center? How heavy is it? These are the things people want to know when they buy a tarp. Could you shoot another video just of the tarp? I'm wanting to buy a tarp!!!!

@SuperReptilelover I do my Friend, it is the 8x8 Trail Tarp, and the Trek Light Hammock. They are both in my Shelter section of the shop. Let me know if it isn't showing up for ya if you give it a look.
In some rural areas where the local rednecks populate the surrounding land, it's dangerous to wander off the trail because of bear traps. Usually catches missing pets.
Brother I like your videos but I hate the sight of a sign on a tree. It's almost like seeing a Walmart sign in the middle of the forest. Takes away the feeling of exploration I get when I enter the wilderness.... know what I mean?
@enjoythewildUSA I know what you mean. They only have the signs in the Nature Center area, they do a lot of youth programs down there. The rest of the metro parks is mostly sign free.
Hey i was watching one of daves videos think it was the discount bushcraft kit he did a high heat spray paint on a stainless steel cowl and container..would it be a good idea to do the same with the outside of the canteen cup? when cooking with it?
@daw9y I would never dis the Canteen Cup - but you can tell the difference when using a $49 cup in comparison to a $9.00 cup. The canteen Gear will be back in my kit once Spring hits.
Also interested in the pot stand when you bring them out.
