  • well! that`s pretty cool....

  • Just wondering, what was so hard for you in those 2 years as you mentioned.. I remembered a couple Mr and Mrs Dangumars, taught English it was an eye openning for them to see a Samoan school teacher punished the student, with a windows stick, but before their time was up, they'd mastered the skills..hahaha..lol.. thanks for helping our people man..

  • Well being away from home and family for 2 years is very hard. As for seeing Samoan teachers punish students with sticks, I saw that as well but took a different turn. PC Volunteers are suppose to be an example for the community, so I chose to never hit my students.

  • I envy your experience, you have lived my dream. I'm sure you took as much away from those beautiful islands as you contributed to their them. Bless you.

  • Well it doesn't have to be a dream. Anyone at any age can join the Peace Corps.

  • No, my time as a Peace Corps volunteer came to an end in December. I was able to upload this video from an internet cafe in Samoa while I was still there.

It was more then a positive experience, it was a life changing experience. Those 2 years were very hard, but I wouldn't change them for anything in the world.

  • are you still a Peace Corp Volunteer there? great videos! Hope it's been a positive experience for you. your videos seem to say that

    faafetai!

  • This is in the country of Samoa at a college called 'Chanel College'

  • where is this at?
