Most of the oil will drip down into the pan. If you're going to choose a fat then olive oil is a good one versus many fats that people choose that are animal based. This is still a lot better than the average fast food hamburger in terms of fat and cholesterol. And as always, watch your portion of food that you choose to eat.

That's a very cool idea. I have injected lots of marinades but I have never thought of injecting olive oil. I cook with it quite frequently.

if your willing to seperate the skin from the meat you can put butter in between it, the skin gets crispy and the meat gets moist, its amazing and worth the extra effort

wouldnt it be easier to suck up the olive oil into the syringe instead of pouring it in. If you pour it in, it will just drip out of the needle because there is no suction to keep it in the syringe

I think just because it would take forever. It's much easier to push something out of a syringe than to draw it in.
