Ah os forcados acredito que os respeitem porque se não respeitassem aí é que era uma festa. Mas no fim vai o forcado todo fodido apanhar as flores que o público lança para entregar ao panilas do cavaleiro que anda ali a dançar e a espetar os pauzinhos das espetadas no touro.

I much rather see a buulfight Terceira, Azores, style, where the bull is let loose with 8 men handling it by a 200 yard rope. Everyone has a good time an the bull is not hurt and lives to become a cele, if he is good. For a matador it is facing possible death and overcoming it
Ok. I don´t like bullfight in any of his versions. But this scene makes a BIG difference with the Spanish version. I recognize here one clasic proof of friendship and heroism.

I totally agree with you that we as animals can kill other animals to eat (that's why I'm not a vegetarian). However, I don't agree with killing animals for fun and enjoyment. Even animals don't do that; they either kill to feed or to defend.

@0darkway0 Os touros nunca são postos duas vezes na arena. Após um espectáculo destes, os touros vão para cobrimento, ou seja, para procriar. Não são mortos nem depois, nem nunca. Os touros que vão para as arenas são cuidadosamente seleccionados, são os mais fortes das ganadarias, para que não os tenham de matar. O único sítio onde usam vezes e vezes sem conta o mesmo touro e só depois o matam na arena é em Espanha.

Independently of what I may think about bullfighting, animal suffering or strict animal torture, this video is a highlight of Portuguese bullfighters that face an injured (therefore in pain and angry) 600kg bull with only their strength to help them. Only in Portugal you find this. Dont confuse bullfighters with the ones that hurt the animal. These guys only try to control the animal. This video highlights also the courage and comradeship of the Portuguese, personified in these bullfighters.

Mas os forcados neste vídeo, e em qualquer praça de touros, mostram a todos o que é ser PORTUGUÊS.
É aquele tipo de amizade, é aquele tipo de sacrifício que nos levou ao topo do mundo na época dos descobrimentos. É este tipo de pessoas, que podem retomar o esplendor de Portugal.

Só tenho a dizer que o sofrimento destes pequenos animais é enorme, não entendo as touradas e mais, estou com torkezilla, a camaradagem é bonita sim, mas nao seria precisa se não fizessem estas maldades a estes pobres animais... Pk o q mais sofrem nem é na arena, é depois e nao me venham com histórias contrarias q infelizmente sobre o q se passa dps eu sei mto bem da matéria.

I wonder if they know that their lack of understanding of the pain/suffering to animals less intelligent than they are, is due to fundamental feelings of deprevation and insecurity? Their apathy and bravado is actually to compensate for those feelings. Most of us eat meat, but are adult enough, not to want the animals to feel unnecessary pain. Nie no - chujowo. Niby uczciwa walka człowieka z bykiem... Ale jak byk wygrywać zaczyna to tragedia wielka się dzieje. Zasady powinny by takie że tylko dwóch wchodzi - (człowiek & byk), a na końcu tylko jeden wychodzi żywy. W między czasie nikt nikomu nie może pomagać. To by było coś. Jednak szczerze wątpię żebyśmy cofnęli się w czasy Rzymskie. W takim razie ta rozrywka w jej obecnym niezbyt honorowym i uczciwym kształcie powinna być zlikwidowana.

eu gosto de ver touradas e sou a fafor delas pela tradição. e ñ me vanham cá com cantigas de k os touros são mal tratados e essas cenas todas pk a falar assim ninguem comia nada a ñ ser vegetais. já vi videos nos matadouros e ñ é assim tão defirente , ficam suspensos no ar presos por um pé e darem-lhe choques até morrerem e só depois é k levam uma facada para sangrarem, e os peixes k sofrem com falta de ar fora de agua, e a caça desportiva. ou é pra todos ou pra ninguem !

I was born and raised in that culture. I do not like the hurting and or killing of the bull. I much rather see a buulfight Terceira, Azores, style, where the bull is let loose with 8 men handling it by a 200 yard rope. Everyone has a good time an the bull is not hurt and lives to become a cele, if he is good. For a matador it is facing possible death and overcoming it

Ok. I don´t like bullfight in any of his versions. But this scene makes a BIG difference with the Spanish version. I recognize here one clasic proof of friendship and heroism.

@0darkway0 Os touros nunca são postos duas vezes na arena. Após um espectáculo destes, os touros vão para cobrimento, ou seja, para procriar. Não são mortos nem depois, nem nunca. Os touros que vão para as arenas são cuidadosamente seleccionados, são os mais fortes das ganadarias, para que não os tenham de matar. O único sítio onde usam vezes e vezes sem conta o mesmo touro e só depois o matam na arena é em Espanha.

bullfigting causes the animal pain and distress but they do end it quikly enough. the animal hardly feels it most of the time.

I just want to say something we Portuguese people is in our tradition to do this and after we eat the bull like a grace , in Spain they kill the animal in public and the only thing they do is to cutting the ears of the bull, in England they stab and kill the kids so tell me here is the corage on that? To enbrighten some troubled minds, they don´t stick swords on theyr back, it is only a finger-size arrow like. and the amount of adrenaline released is so HUGE that the pain sensors are blocked. the same thing that happens when you're in a fight and you barely feel the punches.

Independently of what I may think about bullfighting, animal suffering or strict animal torture, this video is a highlight of Portuguese bullfighters that face an injured (therefore in pain and angry) 600kg bull with only their strength to help them. Only in Portugal you find this. Dont confuse bullfighters with the ones that hurt the animal. These guys only try to control the animal. This video highlights also the courage and comradeship of the Portuguese, personified in these bullfighters.

My family and I are bull breeders for decades and I am an expert in what bull behaviour is concern.
The bull isn´t "panicking and everything attacking arround, getting crazy of the Pain". The bull is charging because his instinct tell him to do so, is the same primary instict that makes buffalos gather around theire sons.
And the most important thing of all for you foreigns understand, the pain...
