the first weeks for me was the swelling. ''pain'' is not there cuz of all the meds your on if you take them correctly. i had my op done on both upper and lower jaw dec 14, DO NOT stress it,DON'T look up horror story's and don't go off of other ppl. i did and i was scared to go through with it im fine. smiling and all you will do great ^^
