Citizens messages need to be heard!! Do you trust 0bama's new Health Care policy?? Visit my youtube profile to check out precisely why Americas voices are important !!!
...and isn't it interesting that many of those who scream "FREE MARKET!" as a solution to healthcare reform are the same ones who say big business should be allowed to spend unlimted amounts on campaigns, effectively buying politicians in return for policy that props up their business, instead of being forced to prove themselves and live or die by the FREE MARKET...
Thank you for this film. We currently pay twice the cost of single payer for half the benefit. Time for single payer. Time for change. Time to kick the medical system cartel to the ground and get what we need. Just don't think Obama is the man to do that. Congress sure as shoot isn't.
Obama is the man, are we really the people? I think Obama heard "us" during the 2006 mid-term elections, his campaign and presidency is a reflection of this...we have to stand together in the true spirit of "we the people" and tell our congressional leaders what we need. If they do not address our needs in congress (and by the looks of it many of them are NOT), then we will vote them out this coming mid-term. This will tell Obama that we heard him hear US and will close the end of the Bush era.
It does depend on the will of the American people, the Bush organization ( does not deserve the respect of being called an "Administration"), dug a big hole in our country's infrastructure, who ever is after him will have hell to repair it. Right now it is Obama who has a full plate. The democratic process will always include US. The mess we're in requires patience to repair or reform. We must clean the congressional "house" this November to restore integrity deserving of our citizenship.
Excellent video! I think the term 'CHANGE' has been re-defined under this administration to mean "STATUS QUO." In virtually every issue of importance. This is deeply damaging in the long run, because it eviscerates the notion of competing ideologies - the very reason for a two-party system to begin with. This didn't start with Obama, of course, because Clinton moved the entire spectrum to the right. End Result: basically a totally corrupt corporatocracy on all levels.
That's the whole reason I refused to vote for him back in '08. I figured it would be business as usual with the 2 party duopoly still in power. Obama isn't really all that important. We have to start the true change with local and state governments. Otherwise it will continue to be business as usual.
@Homer177 We will also have to start change in the House and Senates, in which we will have the opportunity of doing this November during the mid-term. You have to also remember that it was during the last midterm elections (2006) where "We the people" initiated "CHANGE" in the white house by voting on or for measures that removed people like Rumsfeld, brought in people like Pelosi and ultimately, through the Democratic method allowed us to vote Mr. Obama into office.
He and his administration ARE mindful of the people, the Republicans congressional "leaders" are the ones slowing down our democratic process...vote THEM out! This will complete the "house cleaning" process in our government where we will NOT have "business as usual" and cleanse out the remaining bad thinking, anti-"for the people" politics employed by the Bush organization.
Yes. The problem is that even though he is president, he can't do anything thanks to the obstructionist Republicans. We could have had Single Payer were it not for those assholes. The truth is however that Obama has little power if any. It's up to us to clean up the House and the Senate. If we don't, we will see no change whatsoever.
I am confident that Obama has done ALL that he is supposed (or required to) do as president with or without the obstructionist Republicans. And you are right (which was my position) that it is up to US to vote out the Obstructions republicans, the Democrats who are/have been bought by the Republicans) and replace them with new Congress persons who have US the people in their best interest. This will cleanse our congress of the old, Republican/Bush/"Obstructionist" thinking that is in place.
@Homer177 Well, after this week, it appears that the obstructionist Republicans can not stop what President Obama has to do for the citizens of America. Even his recess appointments are to the benefit of us Americans... to me, this is considerable power...and the cleanup of the Congress is just beginning..."Change is Good"!
This is the truth.! The always play to the masses with what they consider a viable alternative to keep the people spinning back and forth, around in circles. Palin is a lite-weight.
Obama is in office working for the people. Palin, there is simply NO HOPE. She needs another refresher course on geography and where Russia is before we can confidently say that she understands the basics of world politics or "foreign policy." She could not be a legitimate leader of this country. Being a P.T.A./soccer mom, Governor does one NOT make a president. She is where Bush junior was when he ran for president which got our country in this mess. "Illuninati harlot" get REAL.... LMAO
@ynotvideo Barack Obama's real name is Barry Satoro and he is a citizen of Kenya. ( Sound like a harlot to me.) Do a YouTube search for "Phil Berg" and learn all about it.
Besides...Barack Obama's birth certificate from Hawaii has cleared this issue. Phil Berg is NOT "authority" on who is and who is not a citizen. And our president is not an "Illuminati harlot." He has more than demonstrated that he is his own man and that he does not subscribe to special interest groups...sans the interest of the American people. His campaign financing solidly exhibited this point.
Great job, as always. I find it mystifying how Obama has so completely ignored his base, the core of people who got him elected. And now, it seems the message he's taking from Brown grabbing Kennedy's seat is that people want him to move to the right - ugh!
I think we could very easily implement something like the Swiss system, where they have single payer for everyone that covers all essential care, and then supplemental insurance for people who want "cadillac" care. Coverage & Choice!
You are an IDIOT! You bozos need to at least know what "fascism", "communism", and the rest of the terms mean before you throw it around like the ignorant buttheads you are.
A system of government marked by centralization of authority (fedgov) under a dictator (obama), stringent socio-economic controls (fedresv), suppression of opposiition (mainstream media), and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism (u.s.military).

I didn't bother checking his page. When we expose them with the truth, all they can do is insult and curse. But, then everyone see's them for what they really are and will exclude them from the dialogue.
Absolutely! This is how we got into this situation anyway. Insurance makes certain you never get care or if you do you go into debt. Every civilized country in the world has single health care except the US.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I dont believe in a single payor system. This would make the single payor a monopoly. I much prefer the Sen. DeMint proposal & that is to allow all insurance companies to compete across all state boundaries thereby reducing premiums and eleminating state monopolies of health insurance. This would allow affordable coverage for all Americans even the poorest. Single Payor would increase the beaurocracy and decrease patient services & bankrupt the system further. IEs are Medicare and Medicaid.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Medicare & Medicaid are bankrupt and present a moral hazard for physician services, laboratory fees and health screening. Also, the ability to cover perscription drugs would be reduced. Single Payor would increase the amount of money paid for medications and increase the taxes on a overburdened middle class. The wealthiest of the wealthy would still be able to afford good insurance and the middle class would be raped once again by the increase in taxes.
They're bankrupt because Republican administrations have borrowed money from them mercilessly to give tax cuts to the wealthy. That is the ONLY reason they're bankrupt... 50 years from now. Neither are currently bankrupt or insolvent for the next 50 YEARS!
The health insurance companies are already guilty of murder in the 2nd degree. I don't think they will change their habits if "tort reform" was established.
Simply by eliminating insurance company profits and the massive bureaucracies that every hospital employs to collect payment from those terrible private bureaucracies known as insurance companies we could maintain the same level of care with drastically reduced costs.
Then we could begin to tackle the problem of why nearly every medical procedure known to man costs more to perform in the United States than anywhere else.
Clinton was one of the best Republican presidents that we ever had. Got away with what Reagan and Bush I wish they could have rammed through. Assaults on the poor and children so that he could give tax breaks to the rich and fund the Pentagon. Racist rants against Obama while campaigning for Hillary. Your "love" for Clinton is nothing to be proud of.
Health Care is against the Constitution, but so is 45,000 Americans dying every year because they can not afford Health Care Insurance, some did have and they still died. In the Health care bill is gun control, force vaccinations, and chip. We need to see the health care bill online, otherwise we are all fish being ready to be fried. Taxes go to #2 funded is Militray complex, #52 is Health Care. All funds are being siphoned, social security, workers compensation, vet funds, pensions, medicare
