I agree with you, there is a lot of lying in politics, and politicians spend so much time appeasing everyone that nothing gets done. We can't just keep throwing money at our problems and expect it to go away. You have to be that way with them because they will charge you several hundred dollars an hour sometimes. Thieves!

Government does create jobs...for people that like to control others...for corrupt politicians that lie to us about everything..for troops they use illegally to steal natural resources for corporate greed and to guard opium poppies...for IRS agents to collect un constitutional taxes at gun point(Michele Bachmann)..and for MSM propagandists to run defense on Politician's crimes(Bill Clinton). All of those jobs you mentioned come from tax payer dollars which are still from the free market economy. So govt never creates anything. They feed off creators and often drain resources and cause catastrophic waste.

@MrDeppness I saw an excellent interview with Johnson on Adam vs. The Man. I have to admit that I (hypocritically) almost fell for the MSM's lack of coverage of Johnson. I wonder if our country is ready for that "Dynamic Duo". Of course, they voted for what we have now which was not based on any sound reasoning other than McCain-Palin being an absolute joke. But, that is how our owners steer the sheeple...by limiting the scope of debates and choices...they lead us to slaughter. Pathetic and sad.
@MrDeppness - Paul knows that race will never happen. Anyway, I'm just saying that it's a real concern for someone who's willing to take on the top job, since it's a very high-stress position. Should he win the election, he would be THE oldest US president ever. In fact, only a handful of all the presidents have lived past his current age. Should he win, he'd be approaching 80 in his first term, which is when health problems mount for just about everyone.
I love Ron Paul, no doubt about it. I love this guy so much that I felt it wrong to vote for the lesser of two evils in the last election and ended up writing him in. But, I do feel like there should be some sort of regulations on businesses. Not the kind that makes it hard for businesses to thrive but regulations that makes it hard for them to cut corners when health and monopolies are involved. But just like Rep. Paul said, leave it to the states to decide what needs to be done.
@missartist123 Yes, and in a free economy the regulations would be the toughest because companies must file bankruptcy when you go under. They get no bailouts, favoritism, or special privileges from the government.
