  • so basically we need a sudo patch :) makes sense actually...

  • When I drag MacOS into the terminal and press enter it says no such file or directory, and doesn't begin the jailbreak process. Anyone else running into that problem?

  • @FluidMusiq when you type cd, add a space then drag MacOS.

  • @raiga4a THANKS! That worked for the cd part but it says the same thing when I try to do the sudo part...

  • @raiga4a Is the next step sudo(space)./(paste). Or are there specific spaces in this command too. I get 'command not found'... Cheers (sorry for being a pain).

  • @joshua051287 its just sudo ./greenpois0n and if that doesnt work just remove the sudo

  • @i4iPhones411 YESSSSS!!!!! thanks! ur a fkn star

  • where can i finde the libcurl.4.dylib in version 6 or later ??

  • @lokacyjny Can I just ask what you need that for and what kind of question is that lol

  • @i4iPhones411 yes, when i'm doing this YOUR way a got this: "dyld: Library not loaded: /usr/lib/libcurl.4.dylib Referenced from: /Users/LOCOSP/Desktop/greenpois0n.app/Contents/MacOS/./greenpois0n Reason: Incompatible library version: greenpois0n requires version 6.0.0 or later, but libcurl.4.dylib provides version 5.0.0

    Trace/BPT trap

    "

so i need to update it, maybe someone can help me with that...

  • @lokacyjny Ahh okay what is your osx version?

  • @lokacyjny Found it Reason is that the Greenpois0n RC5 tool by default do not run on Mac OS X 10.5.x (till now). It tries to access version 6.0.0 of libcurl.4.dylib but as you are trying to run it on the 5.0.0, so it closes immediately. You can fix this by checking a small guide from here h(tt)p://veryrite(.)com/2011/02/05/get-greenpois0n-rc5_2-jailbreak-to-work-on-mac-os-x-10-5/ (delete the brackets)

  • thank you my friend. You helped me very much! jailbroken iphone 4 running on 4.2.1 (Y) worked like a charm;)

  • eh can you put what the source url you added in cydia

  • @ChrisDuongMusic the source has been added to description

  • Great video! Finally worked!

Just a tip, its called "sudo" is pronounced s u do (saying the letter S and letter U, it stands for super user). It took me a little while to figure out what you meant. Anyways thank dude! Finally figured it out.

  • @bigal8096 lol glad it worked and im foreign lol so I pronounce some words wrong :)

  • @bigal8096 I've heard it pronounced both ways, but much more commonly "su-do". The developers of sudo agree with me too. See the last question on the "troubleshooting FAQ" page of sudo.ws.

  • @jlb1230d2 if you recently updated your firmware through itunes, go here (Mac OS X: /~/Library/iTunes/iPad Software Updates (or iPhone/iPod Software Updates, as the case may be))
