One of them was that ships needed to be bigger so it took them longer to sink which meant more time for everyone to evacuate the ship. ( Also for more bigger and better lifeboats on ships.)

Dezember aus Berlin in meine Traumstadt Bremerhaven umgezogen und ich traute meinen Augen nicht, denn ich konnte Tag und Nacht die fantastische Disney Dream von meinem Hochhaus-Appartment bis zu seiner Abreise nach Florida am 20.12.2010 bestaunen. Ich kam in meine Traumstadt und sah nicht einfach Dicke Pötte, was an sich schon toll ist. Ich sah eine Traumschiff wie ich es noch nie zuvor gesehen hatte. Ein unvergesslicher Eindruck. Wann kommt sie zurück nach Brhv?

The ship gets out of Papenburg tomorrow starting on 16.30 and will arrive on Saturday 9.00 in Eemshaven in the Netherlands, there it will be completed and then gets on Northsea to check up for a testride, after that it gets to Hamburg to give it to the owner from Disney cruise line. Thats what I read in our Newspaper in Papenburg.
