@twitchinstereo, I wasn't around when the Stones released the original, but it's simply a more powerful piece of music, both instrumentally and vocally. There are some covers I like better, but not this one. I've never measured a song's power on whether I remember it being played on the radio at a certain time in my life. Great music is timeless. .
