  • Hey mate! What rod were you using in that video?

  • @VenomAngler

I have no idea, it's an old rod. I would recommend using a newer rod.

  • @BlacktipH That's exactly why I asked =P I like old stuff =)

  • @VenomAngler

I would recommend finding yourself an old Harnell then.

  • Hey man, nice video, I have a penn senator 113h, what size sharks do you think I would be able to catch on it? I have seen on the internet that for 6, 7 or 8 footers I would need something bigger, but when I ask people in real life they say that it would be fine. Whats your view on this, you seem to have a lot of experience with shark fishing?

  • @hellabeast34

You can catch an 8ft shark on that. Put 500yds of 65lb braid and fill the rest of the spool with 80lb mono.

  • that rod is to light for that reel

  • how much money do you need to invest to be able to catch a 9ft shark

  • @wolfblade60111

If you want to catch a 9ft Bull, your going to need an 80w or 14/0. Probably $500 or more.

  • @BlacktipH Is there a way to get your bait out there to the sharks without using a kayak?

  • @rmsolympic1

    Cast it.

  • when you said "what is it gonna do bite me?" nurse sharks are known to bite when it is harassed or in danger.

  • @1390marlin

I am not worried about it. I have never seen one show aggression towards an angler and I have never heard of it. I have heard of them biting scuba divers, but that's a different story.

  • Would a penn 650ssg spinfishsher spooled with 50 pound power pro on a sturdy stick be any good for 3-6 foot sharks??? any kind

  • @live2fish0107

It depends on the shark species. You probably won't land a 6ft blacktip with that reel, but you will land a 6 nurse, bull, leopard shark, and others. I would recommend purchasing the 950ssm.

  • What was you fishing for pompano, Or some other fish. Still a fun catch.

  • @2asil2 idiot

  • hey man where is that catch sharks and kinds of fish and that and where they go because they have good run

  • i hoped that shark bite your foot off your cockie bastard

  • It seems like you had to handle that shark all by yourself when you were wading out there.

  • I saw a red what looked like 7 foot sun burned person waving at me while camping I saw it for one second. Now that I see Thr Color it had to be a nurse top feeding ! I almost swam out to rescue her! That would not have worked out to well. Where was this it looks exactly like my spot?!

  • for all those ppl that dont noe this..... whenever they catch a sharka ll they do is take a picture with it then measure it then remove the hook and set it free jeez

  • That's so cruel you just reel that poor little shark in and mull it!!!

  • @2asil2

    The shark was released.

  • Nice shark.

  • Man nice video. I wish i could land one of those... Michigan don't have sharks, groupers, swords...

  • @drewlovesfootball123

But you have good musky fishing. I live in Windsor, and they have already begun to bite.

  • @BlacktipH ya if i had a oat i'd catch all the musky in lake michigan and huron lol

  • @drewlovesfootball123 ya if only i had a boat...

  • @drewlovesfootball123 if only i had a boat

  • excellent... ur vidz are really entertaining me. =D

  • Haha! Nice vid, defo way to go with that helmet cam. So you guys had to use rope to land it after all :) All the best!

  • Thats hardcore, I love fishing like that.

  • nice vid.great footage of wrestling the nurse shark. not to be critical but that rod is a bit small for a 12/0 dont u think?

  • @mightymordicai

I agree, but that's what he uses.

  • Nice shark! Glad it wasnt a bull... looked like it bumped you a few times...

  • Yo im just curios where abouts are you?

  • @boosted28

  • I never knew sharks are all over the shores
