@1512pbuandres Yeah, but this dude had mashed up Paul's live performance and the recording that John made that you have together to create this. Read the description.
@FabFM (Part 3) I have never disputed that Elvis was an influence on other musicians who came along after him. Can you show me where I said anything of the kind? Better still, let's end this now, because, for one thing, it is going round in circles and, more importantly, it is a possible distraction from an excellent video.
@outofthegreenmist I never said you said Presley wasn't influential. I, however, pointed it out because that's why he is the king of rock n roll, because of his influence and enduring popularity.
Again, if you don't want to comment further, then don't. I'm fine with that. I don't want anything from you and will be more than happy if you don't want to talk to me again. Of course if you reply to me and ask me things, or tell me "your wrong because..." I have just as much right to debate as you.
@FabFM What do you want? Why are you keeping this going? I've acknowledged that Elvis was the first big rock'n'roll star (and I'm not referring to his waist size before he died) and have also admitted to liking Elvis. I simply pointed out that he wasn't the best or most dedicated rock'n'roll recording artist and that several people who were more talented, authentic and committed to their music either died young or were imprisoned, thus making things a lot easier for the dubious title of 'King...
Why are you? If you don't want it to continue, you don't have to. You're the one who keeps posting you don't want to post... if so... THEN DON'T. Surely you don't have to wait for me.
Talent is a debatable thing. Elvis is not called "the king of talent", if he was you would have a point. He is called "the king of rock n roll", and his influence on the genre as a whole means he deserves this recognition.
@outofthegreenmist You Tube isn't just for posting videos, it is also for watching them and commenting them and discussing them in the community. Sadly some can't see this and have to throw the toys out of the pram and get in a strop when they get a shock and can't take it when others challenge claims they make. Kinda sad really.
@outofthegreenmist To say Elvis' popularity has lasted a span of seven decades in no exaggeration. Bill Haley was not more important than Presley. Take out "Rock Around The Clock" and that's over half of Haley's influence on the genre gone; take out "Hound Dog", there's still plenty of Elvis' on the musical map!
@FabFM Take out Carl Perkins and you don't have 'Blue Suede Shoes'. Where do you want to stop? Bill Haley was arguably more authentic and laid a lot of the groundwork, as did jazz and blues men before him. I acknowledge Elvis was the first BIG star of rock'n'roll, but he wasn't the first rock'n'roll star, nor was he the most authentic or even most dedicated. He was a pop star whose major rivals died tragically young.
@FabFM I didn't deny his popularity spanned seven decades - you are now quoting me. I was saying that you were exaggerating to say it had lasted (or been retained, as you said) 'for' seven decades, implying 70 years of Elvis popularity (he'd only be around 76 if he was still alive!). Did he start recording when he was 6?
All of this Guys, Elvis ,Gene , Eddie, Buddy, Jerry Lee, Litle Richard... where one of a kind,Singers and Artists. Each of them are better than all the singers in the last 30 years together .
Yes Eddie had an awesome Rock N Roll Voice, One of a Kind. Totally .there is no other Rock N Roll Singer who came after the the 50 th that make it better than Eddie.
Oh man, this reminds me of the 1974 John and Paul reunion recordings where they played "Lucille." Another taste of "what could have been." Thanks for making this.
@krissyjeshi It's an accoustic performance for the 90's show MTV Unplugged. I don't know if it's available on record or video, there are several songs from that session on CD and all, but I can't say if BeBopALula from that episode has ever been commercially released.

this is such a beautiful song. i hated johns version. he kinda lost his touch after new york city but even still i love all his music regardless of how far from beatles sounding it turned out. anyways, with paul and his band playing it sounds perfect great job and i love this better then the love album. the only song i really liked on there was strawberry fields forever.
Well done ! Great piece of work - better than the 'Love ' album ( beginning to wonder what that was all about - it's not very good, truth be told) Well done. Loved it.
You can't stand it ? Why did you post it up then ? I don't get it, it's a lovely piece of work and lots of people here seem to like it too. Love is just a cheap gimmick to get us to buy The Beatles music all over again - just like the re-mastered C.D.s that are out just now
I think LOVE is a clever concept. I put this mashup up because at first it sounds good but if you listen to it enough you can hear all the mistakes I made.
@Scarperguy Hey man, this mashup you did is AMAZING, is there any way you can do one for "Peggy Sue" ??! There is a stripped down Lennon version on the Lennon Anthology and on Youtube there is an acoustic version of Paul playing it live. They seem to be about the same speed/tempo etc. Id really LOVE to see what you could do with it and if anyone can make it work, YOU can! I hope I hear back from you soon! Thanks man!
Everytime I hear this mashup it just gives me chills. What a terrific job you did. Isn't it amazing how insync Paul and John are given the fact they recorded this song at different times and at different locations. I love hearing Beatle songs that technology now makes possible. Hope you'll try more ... especially from the early days. Thanks so much for the upload. Regards, Virgil Hilts

I've really enjoyed this mix ever since i heard it a few days ago. I have a suggestion for you though. Where John's version goes into the instrumental interlude and Paul comes in with his voice rendition, perhaps you could soften the volume on Paul's entrance ... and ECHO it ... to make it sound like he's in the background at the start. Then you can treat the rest of the track just as you have it. Why not try it and see what happens. Anyway, this is a very creative way to new Beatle songs.
Slapback echo, yar, good idea. I never thought of that. I'll take a crack at it when I have time. I had to re-master the volume on Paul's entrance, at max volume he still wasn't loud enough.
