  • @1512pbuandres Yeah, but this dude had mashed up Paul's live performance and the recording that John made that you have together to create this. Read the description.

  • @909afterone 909afterone is right. I am a dude.

  • nice !

  • Very tasty! U have skills we can only hope for. Yes, like they're together again and I thank you for the hard work!

  • GOOD Y NICE JOB MAN.. CONGRATULATIONS FROM ARGENTINA!!!

  • Creative! ;-)

  • Awesome, man!

  • good job man. Is perfect ...

  • way better than teh original!

  • @awfulguitarplucker go and bollocks!!!!!!!

  • Great job man! They are back together again!!!!!!!!

  • BE-BOP-A-LULA JOHN'S MY BABY

  • great job man, sounds completely original.

  • @FabFM (Part 3) I have never disputed that Elvis was an influence on other musicians who came along after him. Can you show me where I said anything of the kind? Better still, let's end this now, because, for one thing, it is going round in circles and, more importantly, it is a possible distraction from an excellent video.

  • @outofthegreenmist I never said you said Presley wasn't influential. I, however, pointed it out because that's why he is the king of rock n roll, because of his influence and enduring popularity.

Again, if you don't want to comment further, then don't. I'm fine with that. I don't want anything from you and will be more than happy if you don't want to talk to me again. Of course if you reply to me and ask me things, or tell me "your wrong because..." I have just as much right to debate as you.

  • @FabFM What do you want? Why are you keeping this going? I've acknowledged that Elvis was the first big rock'n'roll star (and I'm not referring to his waist size before he died) and have also admitted to liking Elvis. I simply pointed out that he wasn't the best or most dedicated rock'n'roll recording artist and that several people who were more talented, authentic and committed to their music either died young or were imprisoned, thus making things a lot easier for the dubious title of 'King...

  • @outofthegreenmist "What do you want? Why are you keeping this going?"

Why are you? If you don't want it to continue, you don't have to. You're the one who keeps posting you don't want to post... if so... THEN DON'T. Surely you don't have to wait for me.

Talent is a debatable thing. Elvis is not called "the king of talent", if he was you would have a point. He is called "the king of rock n roll", and his influence on the genre as a whole means he deserves this recognition.

  • @outofthegreenmist You Tube isn't just for posting videos, it is also for watching them and commenting them and discussing them in the community. Sadly some can't see this and have to throw the toys out of the pram and get in a strop when they get a shock and can't take it when others challenge claims they make. Kinda sad really.

  • @outofthegreenmist To say Elvis' popularity has lasted a span of seven decades in no exaggeration. Bill Haley was not more important than Presley. Take out "Rock Around The Clock" and that's over half of Haley's influence on the genre gone; take out "Hound Dog", there's still plenty of Elvis' on the musical map!

  • @FabFM Take out Carl Perkins and you don't have 'Blue Suede Shoes'. Where do you want to stop? Bill Haley was arguably more authentic and laid a lot of the groundwork, as did jazz and blues men before him. I acknowledge Elvis was the first BIG star of rock'n'roll, but he wasn't the first rock'n'roll star, nor was he the most authentic or even most dedicated. He was a pop star whose major rivals died tragically young.

  • @FabFM I didn't deny his popularity spanned seven decades - you are now quoting me. I was saying that you were exaggerating to say it had lasted (or been retained, as you said) 'for' seven decades, implying 70 years of Elvis popularity (he'd only be around 76 if he was still alive!). Did he start recording when he was 6?

  • were those guys aliens?, definitely higher advanced life forms,

  • WHY David Chapman, WHY?

  • John Lennon and Paul McCartney? Are you crazy?

  • John shines right hear! cool mix

  • A great version, the sound is full !!

  • The STAR is the Rock and Roll and the singers put the soul

  • All of this Guys, Elvis ,Gene , Eddie, Buddy, Jerry Lee, Litle Richard... where one of a kind,Singers and Artists. Each of them are better than all the singers in the last 30 years together .

  • @SilverFoxNo1 Don't forget Carl Perkins and Chuck Berry!

  • That's pretty good, mate! Well done!

  • John Lennon respected the KIng.

  • Bopping edit.!

  • terrible Version!

Gene Vincent is the only God of Rock N Roll!

  • @SilverFoxNo1 What about Eddie Cochran?

  • Yes Eddie had an awesome Rock N Roll Voice, One of a Kind. Totally .there is no other Rock N Roll Singer who came after the the 50 th that make it better than Eddie.

  • I adore you, my sweet John! You my God and my icon!!! :-**

  • really a beatiful work!!!

  • Good job

  • oh,btw,sorry...I didn't read the description...hahaha...

  • This is Paul McCartney on Unplugged right before playing I Lost My Little Girl with John Lennon's version, which means it's fake, a montage. ¬¬

  • @suckthedry How the hell do's that make it a fake?

  • You did a great job... sounds better that John's alone. It added what it needed... Paul!

  • this is..... GENIUS! BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ART!

  • Oh man, this reminds me of the 1974 John and Paul reunion recordings where they played "Lucille." Another taste of "what could have been." Thanks for making this.

  • I've always loved old Beatles footage. So cute! :D

  • So cute! ^_^

  • this is the best merci

  • This is good!!!

  • te amo lennon atte: alinzuka lennon

  • hmmmmmmm... If it were not for ELVIS !!!!!

  • @ChubbyBeak this is a gene vincent song... not elvis...

  • they ruined a great song

  • Their voices were, like...MEANT to be heard together =]

  • I attempted this same with Ain't That A Shame - it nearly worked. Good work.

  • @JapaninArmeija Funnily enough, I had a very quick go the other day, it sounded better than this. But I got bored and haven't worked on it since

  • Whoa. Honestly, I didn't think I'd like this, but it's amazing!

  • Well done! this is like a new Free As A Bird or Real Love :D

  • I like Paul's approach better.

  • outstanding!!! Nice work-do MORE!

    Thanks!

  • Quite clearly, side by side,Lennon proved to be better matched for the style of music. Great idea to compare the 2.

  • It's very good, and I don't know why the discuss about the LOVE album, I love that album, is my favourite and has very good remixes. Good video man

  • Oh! My God. If you think they´re good singers apart, wait ´till you hear them together!

  • I was wondering where i could get the Paul version of the song. Can anyone help me out ?

  • @krissyjeshi It's an accoustic performance for the 90's show MTV Unplugged. I don't know if it's available on record or video, there are several songs from that session on CD and all, but I can't say if BeBopALula from that episode has ever been commercially released.

  • @young5ever Yes it's available on Paul's Unplugged album. It says that in the Video Description...

  • Spectacular

  • spectacular

  • Very good mash up! I enjoyed this... it's very good and very in sync. Well done!

  • That was amazing. What a great mix, thank you for sharing.

  • good one

    !!!!!!

  • I LOVE IT TO BITS!!! :D

  • Fantastic job!!!Well done...!!

  • Holy shit, this was done really well. :O Honestly, this may be my new favorite thing EVER.

I love Paul's smooth voice, but it was always best countered with John's slightly nasally one. Separate they were great, but together they were legends. :D

  • mach schau (hamburg 1960 battle cry)

    ask George

  • Johns voice when he was 18 makes me melt like a popsicle on the equatorXD hear john sing thatll be the day... youll see...

  • Love it

Check out my "Be-bop-a-lula", see my channel, THANKS!

  • yeeeaaah !!!!! :P

  • Works for me. An all time favorite. Star Club was better than nothing but I'll take this this over that.

  • I love it! Great job!

  • i have this record... Rock n Roll

its awesome but to bad it wont play and our record player is broken

    :'(

  • I own this! I love hearing John rock out!

  • Well done ! Great piece of work - better than the 'Love ' album ( beginning to wonder what that was all about - it's not very good, truth be told) Well done. Loved it.

  • Mm no. I can't stand this mashup to be honest. I much prefer LOVE

  • You can't stand it ? Why did you post it up then ? I don't get it, it's a lovely piece of work and lots of people here seem to like it too. Love is just a cheap gimmick to get us to buy The Beatles music all over again - just like the re-mastered C.D.s that are out just now

  • Try to do the same with Peggy Sue. Both John and Paul did that one too.

You blow away the LOVE stuff...it was not that good at all. It was actually irritating to listen to. Your stuff is very well done.

  • I think LOVE is a clever concept. I put this mashup up because at first it sounds good but if you listen to it enough you can hear all the mistakes I made.

  • @Scarperguy

    HELLO

    very very good job

    thanks

    have you others virtual duets?

    best regards from france

  • @Scarperguy Hey man, this mashup you did is AMAZING, is there any way you can do one for "Peggy Sue" ??! There is a stripped down Lennon version on the Lennon Anthology and on Youtube there is an acoustic version of Paul playing it live. They seem to be about the same speed/tempo etc. Id really LOVE to see what you could do with it and if anyone can make it work, YOU can! I hope I hear back from you soon! Thanks man!

  • Amazing man! What a beautiful job...it sounds like they were really in the same studio. Can you do more mashups! Really outstanding.

  • I would do more mashups.. it takes a bit of time before an idea comes to you though. As soon as I come up with an idea though, I'll mix it.

  • nice vid ps 5 stars

  • very well done excellent mix

  • Yeah,yeah,yeah!

The Beatles were and are the best...

    I LOVE them so much...<3

  • Cool ,i love the beatles ♥

  • ;) yeahhh yeahhh yeahhh!! hahaha

  • good fake

  • Comment removed

  • Thank you! This is gold! the best version of the song! absolutely! the beatles forever

  • Everytime I hear this mashup it just gives me chills. What a terrific job you did. Isn't it amazing how insync Paul and John are given the fact they recorded this song at different times and at different locations. I love hearing Beatle songs that technology now makes possible. Hope you'll try more ... especially from the early days. Thanks so much for the upload. Regards, Virgil Hilts

  • I must say, I really hate this mashup. I can just.. hear where it doesn't fit, probably cos I made it myself but... I don't like it personally.

  • lol well i see at times ur right it just dsnt seem to fit. but i love it cuz...well its like a beatles reunion for me. thanks for the great video

  • John Lennon & Paul Mccartney, cool guys. My dad has this song on one of John's solo albums.

  • Great work! Thanx for posting XD

  • Freaking genius!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!

  • cool i like what you did im down loading this you did a grate job on this put up more hey check out my orginal song you silly doggie on youtube its sung by david dubowski its a cool song poem about my dead dog sandy enjoy

  • they broke beatles but had same influences ever. rock ´n roll and run devil run.

  • Really Cool, Its the duet that never happened

  • Cool. Nice work, thanks for posting.

  • Again my friend Great Mixing. I love it!!! I thinks it's really cool :) Keep up the good work :)

  • it gets me dancing thanks :D

  • I've really enjoyed this mix ever since i heard it a few days ago. I have a suggestion for you though. Where John's version goes into the instrumental interlude and Paul comes in with his voice rendition, perhaps you could soften the volume on Paul's entrance ... and ECHO it ... to make it sound like he's in the background at the start. Then you can treat the rest of the track just as you have it. Why not try it and see what happens. Anyway, this is a very creative way to new Beatle songs.

  • Slapback echo, yar, good idea. I never thought of that. I'll take a crack at it when I have time. I had to re-master the volume on Paul's entrance, at max volume he still wasn't loud enough.

  • Fantastic Mix ... Hope you'll try some more of their early stuff
