Kevin Schwantz ....... quite simply the most exciting rider to have ever lived - he took his rgv to the limits and beyond what nearly all other riders of his era could only dream of. It was just a shame that the Rainey incident in 1993 not only slightly tainted his winning of the title that year but also affected his subsequent performance and eventual retirement. But what a guy! What a legend! Incredible skill and natural talent.

Brings back lots of very good memories, Revvin Kevin was the fastest rider I think of all, not always consistent, but, when he fast there was no one who could live with him.

Non avevano controlli di alcun tipo (trazione, frenata, conetti variabili e varie), diversamente da ora... le cambiate si facevano frizione alla mano e l'erogazione del 500 2t era talmente impegnativa che ne ha decretato l'estinzione (soppiantati dai 4t, più potenti si ma anche più guidabili).

Fare un paragone ad oggi è impensabile... dimostrazione? Gare così spettacolari, ora, possiamo solo sognarle!!
