One must wonder why anyone would rate a video like this below five stars: are there any more helpful videos of pool shots than ones with high-speed cameras, which allow us to understand (and discuss) the physics of a shot (as well as improve upon our execution thereof)? Thanks for uploading, great work!
Agreed. The pockets play "big" on this table. If the pockets played "tight" it would have taken a lot longer to film the video. The shot is hard enough already, even on an "easy" table.
The rails or the cushions seem to be knew, the striped ball just slides on it, it hits approximately 1 diamond b4 the pocket and it goes in,which at that speed is impossible on a new standard dynamic or buffalo tables
Agreed. This shot won't work on every table, and the best ball placement will be different from one table to the next, depending on pocket geometry. Also, tables with tight pockets will require a more accurate hit.
He means Jim Wych i think from the U.S. Open 9 ball tournaments from billiard club network. great 9 ball matches if you have never seen them Dr. Dave, nice videos by the way i greatly appreciate you taking the time to make them.
bottom-left-english, to make this shot? :)

@mortensen741
The english doesn't matter much if you hit the pocket point i the right spot.

do you use any english on this shot?

No English is necessary. The cut angle throws and induces a small amount of spin on the object ball, allowing it to bank cross corner.

this table sucks

Why? The pockets are a little "big," but I think the table plays fine. :(

The pockets definitely play "big" on this table, but this doesn't change the "message" of the video.

@DrDaveBilliards Try it on a tournament table, it'll make a difference :)
