Wow, very weird lightning. If you press and hold 2, you will almost see a constant picture of the strike. It looks like the the strike had teleported from the yard to the house, but the camera's reaction the the strike with the static, I'm pretty sure it's real. Nice video :)

Wow i bet that was scary. yea i had close encounter back in 2001 i was standing under the porch in the rain (Bad idea) the 1st lightining of the storm struck the stop sighn about 2 houses down i ran inside quick as possible. BTW this was in Summeville Sc.

@thijskorbee1 There is a power pole apparently behind the house. I think the lightning hit the power lines running up to the house. The flash you see is likely the lightening arcing around the protector near the transformer.

Lighting hit my house next to my window when I was looking out it was amazingly scary. Sparks went flying and I heard a buzzing like the electricity was going through the wall then came the loudest boom I ever heard. I hope not to come that close to lightning again. Nice video.
