The front and rear axles are designed to be stronger while driving forward. They're about 20% weaker when driving in reverse. It's better to pull against a load like that while going forward. Good job on the recovery.

@geweldigaum - Actually after viewing this video I wanted to ask if there is a specific reason someone would pull another vehicle in reverse? I rarely see anyone do it like this unless they are using a winch.

It has an 8" lift with 40" Terra Mud Grapplers. Tires are 40x15.5x20. The wheels are MTX artillery's, cheaper wheel but looks good with this truck

@Glendale1835 awsome, i used to have a red hilux on a 7inch susspension 2 inch shackle with 35 super swampers, not as big as yours but i still miss it, spent so much on all the lift etc, Was hard as hell to sell and lost a lot of money, Will one day purchase another pre built one hopefully. all the best dude,,,
