Lost has something to do with it, because it was created to LOST, by the LOST-creators, that's a fact. In the DHARMA-orientation movies they mention Alvar Hanso, and Magnus Hanso was apparently onboard on the Black Rock... I think and hope that the creators soon will begin to connect LOST and the LOST-experience more in the next season.

I'm so pissed. Al these things that answer a lot that are not in the show. But on some crappy sites. Same like the stupid easter egg that shows you how the others clean their tracks. Widmore was the man leading "the others" before ban. he had to move the island after the dharma people are killd. so he cant go back. now he want to find it. when u look at season 2, on the baloon the original Hanry Gail commes to the island hat a Widmore industrie marke on it, so i traid realy hard to find it, an i think he also sand desmond to it. in season 4, widmor says to ban : "every thing u have, u took from me" so he maybe wasnt sopoust zu be the leader.

Alvar Hanso and his foundation are the people I think are who Naomi and the rescuers are looking for. When Ben killed off DHARMA, he knew Alvar Hanso could not find out, or he and the hostiles would be killed. So Ben and the hostiles continued Dharma's work, and sent the needed research to Hanso. Somehow, maybe by the electomagnetic pulse set off, Hanso found out about Ben's betrayal. Hanso sought revenge on Ben and the hostiles, leading him to send Naomi's team to find and kill Ben.

I think that somehow, Widmore is getting needed information from Alvar Hanso about the island and how to get to it. But Alvar made a deal with Widmore: He will only give Widmore the coordinates of the island if he kills Ben when he finally finds it.

another thing... you believe that the Others continue dharma's job. but aren't they supposed to communicate with the hanso foundation. and if u remember, the report files going out of the Pearl haven't been collected for a long time. so nobody's sending this info to hanso foundation

Hmmmmm you make a good point.. Here's the thing, do you know about the Valenzetti Equation? Well, Dharma set off the variables in that equation at the radio tower. Maybe, in some odd chance, a variable was changed, and Hansos work was finished. But when he learned that Dharma finished, he also found out about Ben's betrayal. I know it's unecessarily complicated, but I'm really trying to keep faith in ths theory. I've got a question for though:Do u think hanso will ever make a real appearence?

i know what ur talkin about here.. ive been lookin and searching evrything on this for over a year now and no soo much about it, i really hope alvar will make a real appearance but i dnt think he will for years to come. the real question is here, is it real? because most of it is related to lost but lost has nothing to do with it, they are just using it for the show which many people dont realize! i just really want to know what is going on

Lost has something to do with it, because it was created to LOST, by the LOST-creators, that's a fact. In the DHARMA-orientation movies they mention Alvar Hanso, and Magnus Hanso was apparently onboard on the Black Rock... I think and hope that the creators soon will begin to connect LOST and the LOST-experience more in the next season.

Yoru point is well made, if crude. Indeed, I agree, the suffering that prevails (to people and the planet both) is reason enough to question saving the world as we know it. But remember, people almost always want to believe in, and fight to the bitter end, to keep humans doing whatever they are doing. I think many people call it a 'survival instint' or 'hope', I call it selfishness, wording does not matter in the end. Majority rules. *sigh*

I'm so pissed. Al these things that answer a lot that are not in the show. But on some crappy sites. Same like the stupid easter egg that shows you how the others clean their tracks. SHOW THAT IN THE SHOW!! When I watch the show I want to be sure that I am seeing everything important, not having to think if theres somewhere out there a videoclip that answers things. I mean this basicly answers the whole Dharma thing, numbers thing. And instead of adding it in the show. They hide it on the net.
