I play WoW and the graphics on LOTRO are great compared to WoW. But let's say you have a great computers and high settings on WoW then WoW also looks not too bad. Anyways both games are great.

There's no question that LotRO graphics are exponentially better than WoW. Plus, the story line in LotRO is much more solid.

not only that.. but LOTR was created waaaay before WoW... any game that tries to beat Tolkeins storyline.. needs to go shoot themselves.. Tolkein went WAY indepth and even created his own languages...

Hehe nice. This video was made on my old computer. No DX10 or anything.

But atleast it show people the basic graphics of LOTRO and such.

On my new computer, i run everything on Ultra High (Custom) So i've maxed even more than ultra high, with DX10. So it's pretty sweet.

Nice Graphics. Just out of curiousity, do you see ehm, pointy.. 'pixels' trough your trees? Cause I can see parts of the sky trough the trees which looks very ugly to be honest. Does this go away if you have a higher resolution?

My computers ability to play games with moderatly high specs, is very poor though I would always put them up to high when going about the shire and some unpopulated areas (to reduce lag). The graphics in the game were stunning, especially the water, and I hear you can fish now? Wished that was there from the start :p Well, I won't be playing another MMO for a long time, unless I find myself with alot of free time. I was on Laurelin to, great server!

i really miss this game i had a lvl 35 human minstrell stopped playing because i got this lag with my minimap so it were in the middle of the screen all the time i contacted a game master they told me to reset something and i did but it didnt help... :(

Oh it's easy, can't remember now though. Don't play any MMORPG's in the summer.

But all you got to do is go to inferface options or GUI options or something, then just click Return to default or something.

Not that big deal, just return every options to default and it should get fixed! Good luck mate

Yeah it's fun, i like the hobbits, because they start in the shire, and they got the best quests =) I'm a lvl 31 Hobbit Burglar at Laurelin now. Don't really play lotro that much anymore, but i'm logging in to check lvls of friends and have some nice RP times at The Pony, in bree =) Well hope you like Lotro!

Same here.. It seems You'll truely start to apriciate the things you have, once you've lost them.. I miss middle earth so much, I can't wait to return once again. I miss my walks trough the shire, and the sound of the falls in rivendell, the snow on the misty mountains, and in some way the darkest places in fornost :-(

I soon learned that it was nearly impossibly to find your way around, running blindly into dead ends and giant trees that wanted to eat me. Same ^^ Windows XP with 4gb, but it can only use up to 3gb-3,3gb ram.

if you get windows vista 64 bit, you can harness all 4 gigs of ram mate :) might improve fps a bit in larger cities with lots of players.

4gb ram, but windows xp can only use 3gb ram.

Yes i can run on utlra high without lag, no lag in cities. only times i lag is when i Alt-Tab and get back in, or when i use map home, but only for like 1-2 sec and then no lag.

I got help to build the computer, i'm not really that good at that stuff :P
