I agree. People expect video of proof that something actually happened. They don't really just take print reporting as truth anymore .... I guess I can't blame them in some ways. So many people have a voice on the net that it has become more of a "he said, she said" thing.
That is so true because I'm guilty too.I have nothing more than about 10 pictures from our TEA PARTY RALLY here in Peoria,Il. and you wouldnt believe some of the conversations I had with people that are awake.I'll be back to the next one and that won't be the case.GREAT VID.5*'s............
Great post, I shall purchase a camcorder right away, though I'm in Britain and it's REALLY fucking hard to film anything here. Anyone know what the law is on this and where I can read the WHOLE thing? I don't have the internet much so a link would be appreciated.
I don't know if there's a law, I'm sure there isn't.
Please don't say "You guys", I'm not part of any collective, I merely live in a society of people who make decisions for their own personal profit, I'm not part of it, I am just ruled by it.
Sometimes when your INVOLVED in an event you don't always have the hands free to record it. Having said that, I bring/wear a 2 Hour "clip camera" to events and usually keep it in my car/pocket in the event of a traffic stop (etc.). Quality of a clip cam is better than cell phones and mine has an audio only mode too. The cam I got is called a "Ucorder" -- there are probably better/cheaper ones now? - mine was about $70 off eBay. Quality for distant shots is fair/poor - closeup is better.
Dave, you are a beacon of liberty and what you do with your videos is a great benefit to the liberty movement.
Watch what Judge Andrew Napolitano has to say about cameras/video in the following video segment from 3 minutes 20 seconds to 3 minutes 55 seconds: watch?v=UCx-D1jJm5g#t=3m20s I'll post another reply with the text of what he said in that video.
Napolitano: The camera is the new gun. Filming the government and showing its excesses and showing its utter ignorance of the Constitution which every person who works for the government has taken an oath to uphold, will have massive effect. And we of course who believe in your civil liberties and your right not to be stopped by the government absent some demonstrable evidence of criminal activity will make sure that this tape, lets just say, will be seen by a great number of people.
I doubt the local cable channel here would be interested.
Unless ... there is demand.
