Yeah! I need to get back into Krav Maga. I learned all the techniques they showed in the water. The choke with a push from the front, the choke from the side... heck yes. I learned all of that, exactly as they showed it. It's cool to see that they stay consistent with the style no matter where you are. That's right in Israel... and I'm in the U.S. Just awesome.
I think Russian Systema would pwn this, Krav Maga totaly build on blind agression which is good against an unskilled fighters, but against skilled ones like Vladimir Vasiliev (search You Tube) you prolly just hurt yourself :)

I mean Krav relies on our basic instincts like to aim for the nuts and eyes. oriental martial arts and competitive fighting sports have limits, as they don't permit eye gouging or nut kicks, among other things. KM is no holds barred, except while practicing. Not only does it build upon our instincts, but it improves them. Sure jujitsu make soyu develop new instincts, but KM is good for civilians since it is easier to learn.

I quite enjoyed this episode.
All the other episodes are more sport orientated,or one on one fighting ,this one is more Self Defence and deals with multiple opponents more effectively ,not for everyone,but it would be one of the better Arts in preperation for real life conflict.

Systema is a trademarked knockoff of Soviet/Russian Sambo, itself a knock-off of Central Asian Grappling and Japanese Jujutsu/Judo styles.
Krav Maga also rips-off Jujutsu/Judo, hence the similarities.

Yeah! I need to get back into Krav Maga. I learned all the techniques they showed in the water. The choke with a push from the front, the choke from the side... heck yes. I learned all of that, exactly as they showed it. It's cool to see that they stay consistent with the style no matter where you are. That's right in Israel... and I'm in the U.S. Just awesome.

ahh hello,,, your techniques are from oriental arts .. krav maga is bits and pices from various arts . judo is a soft art but is built so you can come back the next day.. if you studied samurai jujitsu youll go home with broken ligaments cause its devolped to injure .. if you study martial arts your insticts develop when you pratice hard so what are you talking about the term martial art means military defense. just because you dont poke your sparring partners eye in class jesus oh i forgot lol

True, it is a mish mash, but it does not focus on tradition. I mean Krav relies on our basic instincts like to aim for the nuts and eyes. oriental martial arts and competitive fighting sports have limits, as they don't permit eye gouging or nut kicks, among other things. KM is no holds barred, except while practicing. Not only does it build upon our instincts, but it improves them. Sure jujitsu make soyu develop new instincts, but KM is good for civilians since it is easier to learn.
