A little update on Crabtree. This hasn't really been brought up on a national level but on Saturday Comcast Sports Network reported that Michael Crabtree is now in the Bay Area. Basically he's in town and he's working out. That was confirmed by 49er GM Scott McLoughan. I guess it means that they are close to a deal.

I would give my left nutsack away for $16 million guaranteed. Crabtree needs to re-examine himself and where he stands in terms of market value. You got picked 10th so therefore, you get paid accordingly. The Niners seem to be doing just fine without him anyway so even if he does sign, he'll be nothing but a distraction. Crabtree has legitamitely screwed himself as far as his logic is concerned... If he doesn't play this year and he re-enters the draft, he still isn't going to make the money he wants, because nobody in the top 10 is going to touch him with a 10 foot pole... A little update on Crabtree. This hasn't really been brought up on a national level but on Saturday Comcast Sports Network reported that Michael Crabtree is now in the Bay Area. Basically he's in town and he's working out. That was confirmed by 49er GM Scott McLoughan. I guess it means that they are close to a deal.
