The Colonial era was durring the late 15-70 hundreds. the Napolonic era was durring the late 1700's -1815. Thus game takes place in that time period. Even so the War CHiefs Expansion is suposely post Civil war. and the Asian Dynasties takes place over a four hundred year period
oh i c....i'm not good with world history ( like napolonic era) but i do know that WC is in a post Civil War, and Asian Dynasties is 1600-1800 i believe because of tokugawa and the chinese is around Aztecs, and then finally the indian revolution starts in 1857.
@MicrowavedHamster depends what you mean by revolution...do you mean independence? If so that occurs in the 20th century around the 1940s. Other than that they've just had rebellions, like the Sepoy Rebellion.

well i'll repeat it again: This works on humans, you obviously play TOO much single player to actually know how to defeat an expert comp and study it...so please challenge me online and then we can argue who's the clown ;)

If the treasure has only one guardian like a wolf or a bear, don't use the auto-kill unless you have really low HP. It's a better idea to do melee against outlaws since they do less damage. Sure, you do less damage too but you have more health. Plus, your hand attack is like 8 while theirs is 5 and you have like 400 HP while they have 250 or something like that.

you could say that but its in the colonial era which is like the 1800's, but oddly enough the expansion packs have different time periods i believe.

A little trick for getting treasures:
