  • Notice how Barbara just stares at Waynes crotch all the time.

  • Wow... barbara is a bit scary in Duet, and how can she act so unimpressed by Wayne?!

  • Ryan was playing himself in Lets make a date. LOL

  • Go WAYNE! Just seeing his first Whose Line episode makes me melt!! :)

  • It took me a moment to realize this wasn't a US show. Although there was probably more US shows (each season going well into the twenties) there was not a 10 season.

  • My god Barbara's pants... They come up to her breasts...

  • for this being wayne's first episode, its great!!!!!

  • She looks like the long lost daughter of Streisand!

  • barb and the girl sittin next to her with the glasses were pretty hot

  • awesome. wish clive would have went with the show for the us version. like him a lot better than drew.

brad sherwood reminds me of ben rappaport from outsourced.

  • Ryan, Colin, Wayne, & Brad. If it weren't for Clive's presence, one could easily confuse it for a US episode.

I gotta say, Wayne did a spectacular job in his first appearance!

  • "I'll do whatever it takes to commit to you...because I love you. Can't you see that?! Are you so blind that you can't see how I feel about you?!"

  • At the very end it goes silent? Anyways, Barbara really looked in to that. X)

  • OMG its different is it the first episode with wayne?

  • @PandaJungle Yes, it is. For the last UK seasons they filmed it in Los Angeles in the same studio that would become the US versions studio. And it is Wayne's first show.

  • @TOBranch10 I KEWN......

no but great start for wayne hihi he looks a bit shy but when he sings he´s so cool..

  • OMG its different

  • LMAO!! at 3:04 someone's laughing sounds like a rooster! =D

  • Colin's driving instructor reminded me of when I first began drivers' ed..... xDD

  • No disrespect to Drew Carey, but this show died when it moved over to America. It's not Drew's fault. He's a funny guy. The reality is, you can do more with comedy and everything else on TV in the UK by way of content. Canada used to be that way, but since the Conservatives took over, things have changed. Is nobody libertarian?

  • @surfer53 Meh, I thought all of the US episodes were absolutely hilarious, it's the UK ones that I'm not so into.

  • @surfer53 The show actually thrived. It was competing with the highest sitcom kinda thing of their time that lead way to today's disastrous TV. The US was not as crude because it was, as Drew said several times, hosted by a family channel, kids watched, grown-ups watched, and senior citizens watched it. Today, they do much more in American TV than you would think, it just depends on the channel.

  • Does anyone else notice how Clive is trying to pronounce the '"r"s more like in "Sherwood" cause of the American audience?

  • Ryan Stiles = Porn Star?

  • Yippee, new shiny studio!

  • why did they change Clive by Drew...

  • @RedDog002 becaus clive didn't wanted to do it anymore and they had to find someone and to make it inmediatly total american

  • @RedDog002 Because this part of the series was dropped, Drew and Ryan brought it back.

  • What happened to Richard Vranch?!

  • @dragon2041

    u died....u happy now?

  • this comment is so nonsensical i can't even make heads or tails of it.

  • @dragon2041

    oh.......wow

    i meant

    he died.....u happy now?

    so..ya...im an idiot

  • actually, yes you are. This show was released in 1998 - and Richard Vranch is still alive and kicking in 2010.

  • @dragon2041 @RemusLupo Seriously, shut the fuck up and enjoy the goddamn video.

  • @ieatglue44 Thank god someone still has any sanity left. And thank god they shut up when you told them to!

  • omg barbara did some funny expressions too! She looked happy, then horny, then afraid, lol she was funny

  • @timallenfan92

u catch her face as she was being chosen..friggin awseom

  • Barbara seemed like she was in love with Brad, u gotta admit Brad got looks

  • So this is Wayne's first ever show?

  • First there's Ryan, playing a desperate actor who's only come on the show to be discovered, then comes Barbara, a desperate actress who's only come on the show to be discovered

  • @Jennyfisch LMFAO!! my same exact thoughts

  • America's first taste of Wayne's musical and comedic talents. Awesome.

I loved Clive subtly making fun of the way Barbara pronounces her name.

And omg, watch her face during Duet. She does all kind of funny expressions.

One last thing... Ryan's first Fresno reference, yayyy!! XDD

  • I am going to name a flipper...

    **BUZZ**

    A flipper!

    LMAO

  • is ti just me, or is barbara in love with brad? she was looking at him most of the time, hardly paid wayne any attention =P

  • Interesting about the duets on this version. Usually on the US version, Drew comes up into the audience and picks someone to have a song sung about them. Here, Clive just asks. I like that.

  • Wayne's shoes look like he stole them from Frankenstein.

  • fun fact: wayne brady has a album called a long time coming trust me you wont be disappointed!

  • wayne just did his first ever line in wliia, already he completely belongs :)

  • is it just me or does Clive have a big head for his body?

Not that it's a big deal or anything, It's just something I noticed...

  • He just lacks a neck, the subject of many a joke, including some of Clive's own :-)

  • i dunno, but i got used to the simplicity of the English studio. this Hollywood studio is a bit much for me, and it feels odd that Clive is the only English one here. but hey, that's just me.

  • Why do i get the feeling that Barbera only put up her hand coz she's a "desperate actor who's only come on the show to be discovered"...

  • My thought exactly.

  • What a coincidence.......

  • yey!!!

    Wayne!!!

  • Brad is so funny in lmad! He's too hot <3!!

  • Wow, I've made it to the surreal transition series between Whose Line UK and US; I'm not used to seeing Clive in the same episode as Wayne and Laura Hall...

What exactly happened here, anyway? I read Drew was responsible for bringing the series over to the States. So basically, did Drew call the shot, kept Clive as the host, and took over when it panned out?

  • she can't take her eyes off Brad and she's got a slight psychotic look aswell

  • yes you're right. i wouldn't like to treat her wrongly

  • this was the first time all the guys have had someone sing as well and even a little better than Brad. they were kind of suprised

  • so strange seeing Clive sitting at Drew's desk

  • I love how Ryan slams Leo Dicaprio. LOL!

  • that barbara girl looked like she fell in love with brad

  • yeah, she did look like that. i thought it was funny.

  • @LufflyPanda I totally agree. She was reeaally staring at him. X3

  • @LufflyPanda yes 5:52 he looks kinda scared like "stop it!!"

  • @LufflyPanda Can you really blame her, though?

  • @LufflyPanda I don't blame her! I think I am in love with him too :)

  • Haha I think Barbara the actress wanted Brad!

  • I want to be sung a modern pop love ballad by Brad...

  • and Wayne too!!!

  • wayne's first episode.. :P

  • It might of been a trial in USA see if it works :)

  • why did they use the american studio for the british one in this episode???

  • I assume they had 4 Americans on the show (well, 3 and a Canadian), so they decided to shoot it in the US and call it the Hollywood edition. Since Ryan was doing The Drew Carey Show it certainly would have been easier for him.
