I think to solve the problem there should be more events where people can enter there cars to do burnouts or drags. The spot they picked is pretty good, its not like they where doing that up dean st (the main st in Albury). The only issue I have is that the drive was blind drunk. To safe that is was safe is silly because it wouldnt take much for the drive to loose control and hit a few people. People then wouldnt be saying that the driving was cool and shit.

My six year old was hit out the front of our house by a drunk unlicensed driver doing a burnout - he was in hospital for nearly six months so burnouts arent safe when done on public roads and those doing them on public roads should be jailed.

I don't blame the police for being pissed off. I don't know anything about cars, but nothing gives someone the right to do a burnout with that many people close by. Even if he was sober - which he wasn't. He was drunk, once the car got some grip, what's to say he wouldn't have swerved into the crowd?
