Christopher whined that he was adopted because Bobby is Jennas son Lucas' biological father. Everybody knows the story where Christopher came about, it was thought from season 3-season 6 that he was JR's son, but wasn't as Kristin miscarried JRs baby and she had another child with husband Jeff Farraday. Farradays sister aka Lisa Alden assisted by JR attempted to gain custody of her nephew. It was foiled by Christophers biological aunt Sue Ellen.

Jenna and Ray made a lousy couple, but then again the writing & directing became awful after Bobby came back.

Presley wanted to leave, so they ultimately wrote all three out. I think they should have kept Ray and recast Jenna. I liked Charlie. This family was replaced by the McKay's and the audience rightfully yawned and contuniued the exodus in viewership which began after the ill-fated return of Bobby.

@Vydio I agree. In fact, my favorite idea for a storyline would have been to have Charlie become obsessive about getting back at Pam. In one scene, Pam (trying to be so big-hearted, but instead was just big-busted) came to see Jenna at the shack she moved to after being dumped. Charlie gave Pam the dirtiest look. They should have expanded on it, with Charlie stalking Pam and having it culminate at season's end with Charlie killing Pam. Goodbye Pam (VP left the show @ season's end anyway).

Everytime Jenna turned around, there was the rich and magnanimous Pamela Ewing trying to comfort her after being dumped (Pam played no role in this, she just all but went down on Bobby every time he came to pick up that monstrous child while Jenna was in jail after being framed by Pam's sister) or buy her unborn baby. It would have been more realistic to have the selfish, bitter little Charlie take out her anger on the woman that created the whole mess - Pam. A bat to her knees!

Lucy was spoiled by the Ewing men. They all felt guilty that Gary ran away so they let her run loose. Lucy was never a cry baby. She was a Ewing. She knew how to get what she wanted. She also had JR's number and was all Ewing. Charlie was like a spoiled Valley girl who pouted too much and whined. Always had a puss on her face. Groaned way too much. Jenna was a witch too

In the beginning of Dallas, Lucy was the wild child that was out of control. Charlie became that only worse. Lucy was just slutty and a cry baby, Charlie however was a different story. Charlie became slutty and a smart ass. No wonder they shipped her ass off to Europe.
