I understand that the stone circle at Bryn Celli Ddu predated the passage tomb. This is interesting because most passage tombs were fourth millennium and most stone circles were third and second millennium. There may have been a conflict of cultures with the passage tomb temporarily winning but the stone circles eventually prevailing.
