Clearly Weis complaining to the BIG 10 about Michigan and wanting plays reviewed after the game, and RR saying if they are going to do that then they should look at other games also is the reason Reckman was suspended. Just because you barely beat a team with the 101st ranked defense (Florida State) doesn't make you good. That game was a battle of who sucked worse in the second half. That's why there were so many points. The ACC is twice as bad as the Big Ten. Miami wouldn't put up 10 points on OSU or Penn State.

Typical Big Ten overrated team. Just like every other team in the Big Ten..ranked high for no reason and choke in the Bowl games. Rank the Big Ten where it belongs, like the 5th best conference. Overrated? We're not rated at ALL. So don't go there. I grew up near NIU so I have some home love for NIU. Proud of their play. The COULD have beaten Wisconsin. I think NIU is a LOT better than people think. As a Boiler, I'm ashamed he did this. Normally a good kid. It's clear they didn't handle this loss with class. For that, I'm sure the Boiler Nation as a whole feels some shame. Great game NIU. You deserved the win.

NIU is not in the Big Ten. I said the overrated BIG TEN, not Mac Ten. I remember the days of "The Cowboy" playing in dekalb and then going onto Green bay. I grew up in Naperville area and went to many great parties in Dekalb over the years. I am glad to say I live in Miami now so no more winters or Illinois anything ( politics, taxes, etc etc) to contend with. Florida is the best! Oh, I do miss eating good pizza up North, down here IT SUCKS!

Once the player slides, the play is dead. The Purdue player isn't even in the screen when the NIU player goes down, but he had time to catch up to him, stop himself, then punch. Even if he knocked it out, the play has long since been dead.

The real issue is, does the Big Ten suspend him? They suspended a linebacker at Michigan from the last game because of small punch thrown at the end of a play against ND. How can they not take action now?

Dude, you don't know football at all - force a fumble, ha, good one! Yeah, let's go with that, he was trying to force a fumble and wasn't upset at all and just happened to not hear the whistle 10 seconds prior, did not notice the NIU players was already on the ground and also did not notice how all of the other players were running off of the field. He should be suspended for being the dumbest player on PeeYew's team (and that is really saying something!!!!)
