They didn't steal it. It's just a coincidence that the riffs sound similar, and the reason that they do so is because they are in the same key, meaning that they used the same notes to write the songs, but the songs still sound very different, disregarding that one part. For most mainstream songs, same key = same song, so don't complain ;)
