He actually withdrew b/c an Idol employee filed charges of sexual assult against him. The employee said Mario cornered him in the bathroom stall and touched him inappropriately. You can search it on google and find articles about it. This didn't come out until after Mario's cd was released, years after he withdrew from the competition.
