  • If this is true then i can safely say that the only thing more boring and uninspiring then you is your hate mail. This by the way makes me feel rather sad for you.

  • @iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii142 <~~~~~ offended homosexual

  • Dude, you ignored a whole bunch of other levitical laws. What about the prohibitions sets in that book against the consumption of shellfish and pork? What about the prohibition against breeding different kinds of animals with each other? Do you condemn Christians farmers who have mules among their livestock? Every Christian ignores the Old Testament to some extent not matter how much they'll try to deny it.

  • @kit..Y play w/ fire? Read Proverbs..I used to drink..as the scriptures state..it stings...itll get u b4 u even kno it..what r u gonna tell me next..its ok to get a buzz...so long as u don't get plastered! Who u foolin? When I was younger I used to wanna ride that fine line...it got me nowhere..ur playin yourself..to try and sooth ur own conscience..

  • I agree, that one part of the bible is bogus. We should throw that one verse out with all the other bogus lines in that book of nonsense. Let's just use logic and see where that gets us.

  • So too, are we Christians (Gods People) not to follow in the ways of the Pagans. What is so hard to understand about that? Y do some folk feel the need to "fit" in & b hip & cool or what have u. Molotov is dead wrong on this issue. We are also called to be Sober..whats w/ U glamourizing alcohol? R U one of those "Cool Christian Wanna B"? the kind that wants to seem like u "live on the edge"? Grow up

  • @oddaddyo04

sober and drinking are different, you can drink be sure not to get drunk

  • Y would a Christian want to Conform to the Ways of this World? Levitical Law aside. We now Live under the Perfect Law of Liberty -James 1:25 please do not confuse this with "liberty" to Sin. But as the Old Law was for Gods People to not follow in the ways of the Pagans;

  • Hm....people don't seem to realize that our Egyptian Coptic Christian brethren are having their hands chopped off and being killed by Musilim zealots for wearing cross tatoos on their wrists and foreheads.

  • @Xeres123

    ?! what ?!

هو انت مصرى اساسا عشان تتكلم! احا!

  • I give a sh¡t about all religious beliefs, yet I think of tattoos are some sort of childish boast. We all are immature in some extent but there's no need to make our weaknesses a matter of pride nor give bad example to others.

  • If this is real hate mail than I am a six legged pink elephant riding a unicycle.

  • Hey there =) I personally have a different take on tattoos, even though i have my own.. got them before learning about some stuff.. but I appreciate you're ability to have a discussion about it! I had watched The Fuel Project: Know Your Enemy part 16 and thats what altered my perception.. although i do not believe that it is an abomination or something that would keep you from being saved... I just found out the roots of it and felt personally convicted.. Thanks for your hard work!

  • Thats right, we can eat, drink or mark our bodys according to your interpretation of the Bible, but if by doing so you offend or hurt someone weak in his faith you better not do it for love to such person, so I think you are wrong making this video and make fun of another Brother, sorry but yo are wrong in this one!

  • teach me please lol

  • The Bible aside, it is not your body to mark up. Why deface such a wonderful gift?

  • @Downfacingdog A lot of times tattoos can be used as witnessing tools. I have a friend that has a tattoo of the proverbs verse that talks about trusting God with all your heart and not leaning on one's own understanding and I know she has talked to random people about it and maybe God was using that to plant a seed. That aaaand, some people just like the way they look, they see it as an accessory or something that they think looks good

  • I hope I never run into you at a bar. But if I did it would probably be a gay bar

  • aint it funny how those who call themselves atheist always try to use the Bible as Ammunition,If you don't believe in it you cant use it.

  • The churches would have you believe that long hair is a sin. They fail to recognize that Samson had long hair. But...what is the Biblical definition of long hair. Being Hebrew, I'll tell you. Men pull their hair back and grab it at the base of the back of the skull. Everything past the fist gets cut off. The church would call this long hair. But their doctrine is why most people become polluted by those wolves in $1,000.00 wool suits (wolves in sheeps clothing). Learn scripture properly.

  • Having shown the rules of scripture, Now I'll explain the Hebraic reason for not having tattoos. Pagans did this through ritual. We are supposed to separate ourselves from that pagan practice. That's it! God doesn't care what it means to you. If you did it...fine...repent and don't do it again. But grace is not a license to live in sin. Grace is the license to live a righteous life in a sick and perverted world...separate from it. Not marking the skin is a separation from pagan practices.

    Shalom

  • This topic is based on what a person defines as "sin." That's it! But both Molotov and everyone else must realize when dealing with scripture is that there are rules of scripture. 1. God is the same yesterday, today, and forever, and He is not a MAN that He should change His mind. 2. As long as we have this heaven and this earth, the laws of God remain in effect until ALL prophecy is fulfilled. 3. "Sin" is the transgression, disobedience of God's laws. Learn the basics first.

  • It's dumbshits like you that make some atheists hate religion.

Maybe, if you let them have their religion and you have yours, you guys could get along.

Or maybe you'd mock their voice when you haven't even heard it and piss them off again o.o

  • Fuckig stupid, why you have a illuminati mame in your channel I what that do and you know what that is too,

  • of course your "god" wouldn't use that imagery..however, the bible was compiled from a massive collection of scriptures hundreds of years after Jesus was said to have died. White, Christian men created the Bible as you know it. Of course you all agree with it. Again, get your own opinion.

  • That's hate mail? Pfft yeah right

  • HAHA THe demonic baphomet tattoo he showed I have tattood on my right arm.

  • For the record, brother, the New Testament proclaims this: "What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20, KJV). No believer is free to do what he wants with his body because his body belongs to God. Based on this, are tattoos evil? Just a thought.

  • @SlungDungVideos It really annoys when people use the scriptures without understanding, such as you have done here. Let me help you out so you'll keep things in context my brother. "Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. " 1 Corinthians 6:18, this is the verse before what you are talking about. The subject is fornication which is all sexual immoralities ie. adultery, homosexuality, bestiality...so on

  • Comment removed

  • @SlungDungVideos (Finishing) the fornication is the only sin in which a man does with the body that defiles the temple of God. Therefore Tattoos does not defile the temple of God concerning the body, sexual immoralities however does. The origin of tattooing how ever is rooted in evil practices so let each man work out their salvation with their Lord with fear and trembling! Be well!

  • @Xeonxtreme What make me ill is Mickey Mouse Christianity. Your reasoning: a Christian’s body is God’s temple ONLY in matters of fornication, freeing the Christian to do whatever he wants to. It’s typical for Christians to seek loopholes in following Christ to do what they want to do. The systematic study of Scripture (and their writers) testifies that God’s Temple not only applies to fornication, but to the whole Christian in ALL matters. I love Molotov and you, but y'all are wrong.

  • @SheanTheBaptist What are you talking about!!! I GAVE YOU SCRIPTURES!!! Be Quite and heed/subject yourself the the word of God! 1 Corinthians 6:18

"Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. " I want you to focus long and hard at this part, meditate upon it and learn Every sin that a man doeth is without the body... follow by the exception which is fornication!

Philippians 2:12 I wrote this last time!!!

  • @XeonxtremeI’m so sorry for daring to question your evident expertise in exegetical matters. It’s a good thing that I came across someone of your spiritual caliber to shut me up and put me in my place. How awful it is for me to not submit myself to your Scriptural prowess and command of the Greek language. I now know that my years learning the Greek Scriptures accounts for nothing. However, in any event, you’re still wrong.

  • @SheanTheBaptist I will not dispute with you much further on the matter. Why you assumed that you're the only one that study Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic text bewilders me! More important your statements, are base in your arrogance that you have studied, but did you study unto men, or unto God? Learn this if you can learn anything else, for pride is a shameful thing to have; all your studies will mean nothing if the spirit of God is not in you, for it is by the Spirit we learn! 1 Corinthians 2!

  • @Xeonxtreme Okay, so I’m arrogant and prideful, but you’re still wrong.

  • @Xeonxtreme By the tone of my replies to you anyone can see that I’m toying with you. I’d hoped that by toying with you that you might loosen you up a bit, but in that respect I’ve been mistaken. I’m bored with you because you appear to be nothing more than a cliché of the typical KJV worshipper. You have no authority beyond your computer’s keyboard; therefore you’re free to wax on eloquently. However, since you are powerless over me, the outcome of my circadian defecation is larger than you.

  • @SheanTheBaptist

    LOL.

  • For the Record, you're still an ass. Just because your entire -religion- cherrypicks from its holy text and interprets things out of it that aren't actually in it doesn't mean it's not cherrypicking. The scholar you cited does this, and YOU are doing this.

Believe what you want, but don't expect others to not notice you being hypocritical when you are, indeed, being so.

  • You don't know what god would and wouldn't do. Fuck off.

  • Do you know the history of Zealotry? Nothing to do with your advertised stance, you're not very smart are you?

  • @Zegane I call those people...jesus freaks.

  • You see guys. He was proving a point and when you think about it, its a stupid point but if someone puts up a argument on a topic and you have time to study over it wouldn't you want to come from the same text so you could rub it in his face more? Also. Not the best topic man. Not at all. There are evils in the world, but getting a tat is nothing close to it. I mean hell I got one. Its not a christian tat but it is not satanic either! Its not always wise to jump on homosexuality. Touchy subject.

  • People don't realize that it is the ACT of homosexuality that God hates, not homosexuals themselves. A lot of Christians miss that difference and a lot of us do not represent Jesus correctly in that field

The scripture about tattoos, as he said, talked about tattooing yourself for the dead or for demons. It means for witchcraft, which God detests. This goes to say that these people are not condemned, Jesus died to redeem EVERYONE.

No sin is worse than another in God's eyes. Me lying about tak

  • i don't agree totally about a dragon tattoo. the Bible speaks of the devil being a dragon, but he is not by any means the only dragon in Christian doctrine or lore. in that sense, it would be ok to tattoo a dragon of moralistic, cultural or "he's the good guy" fictional origin. i mean, if someone had the silly idea to get pete's dragon on their arm, it is not likely anyone would see that particular image as evil. something that is confirmed evil, even fictionally, would most certainly be a sin.

  • Homosexuality is only mentioned in Leviticus 18:22 and nobody gets killed for it, right?

  • @PoliticCynic Genesis 19, people die for it

  • @tehmediasource Aha.... that was quite the literary failure on my part. Lol. Would you say, though, that the Bible is only 'really' against the sins that people have died over?

  • Thank you for this video, I appreciate your homework on the subject. I was uncomfortable with Christians getting tatoos, but no longer. I have enjoyed all the For the Record videos that I have seen so far and I applaud your ministry. God bless you!

  • Reading through these comments I'm convinced of two things. 1) It is mostly liberals who watch this video (which would be a good thing for them to educate themselves - if they were capable of such) 2) Most of those liberals watch this video without absorbing anything whatsoever. They comment on the video with their own, pre-conceived "ideas", with absolutely no relevance to what you've just spoken on.

  • @scorey5001 Reading through your comment, I'm convinced of two things: 1) You're a brainwashed conservative Christian zealot who thinks the worst problems of the world consist of homosexuality and abortion. 2) Any attempt to reason with someone such as you would be a waste of time.

Now, was that a fair assessment of you? Probably not.

Was it as fair as your assessment of the commenters on this video who just so happen to disagree with you? Absolutely.

  • I paid attention. I saw a man cherry pick from the bible, then blatantly deny it. What did your American education enable you to draw from that, which I missed?

  • Comment removed

  • @4:00 You do know that King David and Prince Jonathan were gay lovers right? And Jesus is commonly called the Son of David...

  • It's simple, if you have tattoos God still loves you and protects you. Now, if you stick your dick in another man's ass or vise-versa God is disgusted by you and you will burn in hell for engaging in such filthy activities. God don't like guys who enjoy glass jars exploding in their anus, enjoy having sex full of feces, blood and all kinds of excrement and walk around with limp wrists talking like faggots. You fuckers are blessed by lucifer....

  • The scripture is more closely translated to not mark or cut yourself FOR THE DEAD.

  • This video pretty much sums up the blatant hypocricry of 'zealots' like this guy. Pick and mix the verses, man... If we can clobber homosexuals with ancient text, it's go time. If it hits a bit closer to home: let's squabble about context and come up with ludicrous arguments like: "It's only mentioned once." I am laughing out loud man... real loud

  • ಠ_ಠ

    fuck this guy

  • @ChadWardenTV When is the narwhal bacons?

  • So you won't listen if your holy book only says it once? It has to be repeated to you over and over again like you have the mentality of a three year old? Or is it that you like to disregard the verses that apply to you while condemning everyone else for things that don't apply to you?

  • So, ummmm, stuff that appears only once in the Bible can be utterly ignored? Sure you wanna go with that? Because I'm quite happy to advocate that things that only appear once in the Bible are to be ignored.

Does sort of raise the question as to whether the Bible is gods word and inerrant, but not really my problem. So, things mentioned only once can be utterly discounted and ignored, right?

  • your a genuine cunt.

  • Doesn't the argument against Christianity also come from a passage in Leviticus? Talk about picking and choosing to suit your needs.

  • Coughlan done fucking you up SON!

  • I like that passage. Don't like that one. That passage seems ok. Bugger sticking to that one. Ooh! That passage looks easy to go along with. That passage sucks.

A Christians view of their holy script and they say they don't cherry pick.

    Hypocrites one and all.

  • That stuff on alcohol is a red herring as it does not address the passage on Leviticus. But what point did it make? Many Christians are teetotallers (e.g. Billy Graham), so should they be not be considered true Christians? Also, Jesus hung out with prostitutes, so do you do that?

P.S. That's not hate mail, idiot!

  • but you DID have a video called for the record "gay"!!!

  • @evilyakko ummm... no they don't

  • @jbooks888 errm yes they DID they took it down a while back. That's why its so misleading. once again, note that i said DID and not DO.

  • I'm conflicted, on one hand you have pretty good production values and an interesting presentation (though you don't need to keep shouting "FOR THE RECORD" over and over), on the otherhand your message is stupid as all fuck. Choices, guess I'm going with thumbs down.

  • Its only mentioned once in the bible...so it can't be all that wrong....what the fuck kind of argument is that? Maybe you should go and have a quick look at how many times abortion is mentioned in your stupid little book. Fucktard.

  • If God is male, and he made a male first, and made man in his image, doesn't that give god a bit of a gay vibe? Does for me. What kind of straight guy makes dudes first? Straight guys make chicks first, then dudes later if he has time.

Second, god does a lot of things in the bible that are sins for humans. The point of a sin is that it blurs the line between man and god. So you are saying 'if god does something, I should too?' That is the worst sin of them all. You call yourself a Christian?

  • You're a terrible person

  • oh you don't have a video called Gay? hmmm well...I am going to like my response to that video here just to remind you you do.

  • hypocritical shit!!!!

  • 2:40 how do you know that they are "false" Gods? Just cuious

  • @Dartharus *Curious, apologies for the typo

  • It's like a three year old and a zombie had an incredibly greedy child, It's gonna pout if it can't eat your brain. What an argument for euthanasia this thing is.

  • Cognitive dissonance. Look it up, Molotov.

  • "i've never admitted to having a zealot tattoo, i mean i have it"

i can see why you get confused so easily.

  • obscure verse?

what, that one is hidden under a rock? it's in the bible, plain to see for anyone who cares to look.

maybe they don't mention that rule later in the bible, because as we know, jews tend to follow that rule alot more than then the "don't stick your willy in another mans bum" rule...so that one had to be repeated...

as for your "why would god say that? he may have a tattoo...or maybe he doesn't" bit....he also tells you not to kill, right after killing a bunch of kids. cont.

  • @hvyfknmtl and right before sending his chosen people out to kill everyone else...

  • COCKFAIL!

  • So is it OK to have a tattoo of Leviticus 19.28? I'm reminded of the old Paul Simon lyric "A man sees what he wants to see and disregards the rest", sums up Mr Mitchell perfectly. Hey that's a really old song, maybe Simon & Garfunkel are prophets?

  • You had a video called 'For The Record - Gay'. You renamed it a little while ago to 'Gay Politics'.

    9th commandment broken there.

    Silly Christians.

  • YOU FUCKING LIAR! YOU know damn well that you made that video, and you just finally realized how much of a dick it makes you look like.

  • so if the bible says something only once, you can ignore it. well jesus's death only happened once, so as an atheist i guess i am doing a good job at ignoring it too. christian fail video

  • lol @ people trying to be logical while quoting the bible.

  • he does know the bible is just the work of grumpy old men with an axe to grind doesn't he?

  • The more I listen to this guy, I realize two things:

    1) He makes some damn good points.

    2) I always want to break out my bible and start going over what he talks about myself.

Also, I find it very interesting that this particular video has gotten more dislikes than likes...

  • Nope, you're just a hypocrite. And a fucking waste of space and air.

  • So...ignore that part? Modern theology people; the obscurantist reading of a single text.

  • Wow, thats alot of knots you have had to twist yourself into, to get to that conclusion. Twisted

  • So since he only said not to do it once it's OK? Tell me something brother, why would God put something into the bible if it wasn't important? Do you think he was joking? Sins are black and white, no grey area. Don't flaunt your sins. You got a tattoo, fine; you still can't justify it. God said don't do it, and you did it. It doesn't matter how many times he says it.

  • god said not to kill people, he killed thousands of people. can I go kill people?

  • @majordel7 As long as you only do it once!

  • Sounds like "Sam" got served!

  • I'm not religious but if you follow the book of leviticus or whatever shouldn't you follow everything it says, even if it says it once?

  • This is so bad...We really need to move on and get past this god delusion thing. There are more important topics to discuss.

  • lol someone needs to light your smelly hairy cunt on fire.

  • Seventeen and a half thousand subscribers, and currently 884 vies on a three week old video. You should thank the evil Atheist who pointed to your video a few minutes ago. Got you some traffic...finally.

  • Ah, ok, so as long as something isn't described as wrong more than once it is ok ! Well ain't that easy ? :> What about twice ? Is twice less important than 4 times ? ^^

And btw, is THAT what you call hatemail ? xD Wow, you obviously never received hatemail. maybe you should check the videos of those "evil Atheists" dedicated to the hatemail they get from religious zealots :> Heck, even Richard Dawkins has hatemail videos. That on here is actually someone just calling you out and winning.

  • Well done for cherry picking from the bible. Keep shouting and covering your ears.

  • More of this shit? This verse of the bible is ok, but this one is not. The verse about hating people for something they cannot help is OK, but a verse about tattoos, brands or whatever is bullshit so you go against it? How about no double standards. If you are going to follow that book of hate speech, follow every bit of it. And if you wont follow all of it, are you not admitting your book is bullshit? Or here is a better plan. Hating homosexuals is an abomination in the eyes of anyone sane.

  • God doesn't exist, admit it you blonde wanker. You wanna take the bible literally then don't sit on a chair that your wife has sat on whilst menstrating. You're a fucking idiot, go die, I wish there was a Hell because you, you bald asshole would be burning.

  • Sooooooo, what does this have to do with gay marriage?

  • Moron.

  • WTF? DRAGONS ARE COOL!

  • @ChristianTheeAtheist if you read the new testament you'll get the answers to these and other puzzlers.

  • @ChristianTheeAtheist I would say that symbolism plays a major role in the Bible. I am confident that God isn't going to strike you down for wearing a cotten blend t-shirt. I'm also certain that the use of symbolism is being used. I've heard it said, "if you think that you have found a contradiction, you should check your premise." The fact that you aren't understanding its symbolic meanings proves that it is "obscure". At least obscure to you.

  • @ChristianTheeAtheist stop defending sin , the Bible deals with sexuality from the first chapter tot he last. No homers in heaven.

  • I got to agree with Molotov here, very obscure...

The more widely acepted version of the Bible - The King James Version quotes

    Leviticus 19:28

"Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord"

    but Leviticus 19:27 quotes

"Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shall thou mar the corners of thy beard."

So platic surgery is out...so is trimming your beard. NO BEARD? get and grow one NOW! and no marring the corners!

  • @red5llaw

BTW this is all moot - for all Christians we know that the New Testament has superceded the Old Testament and the Mosiac Law. The Old Testament IS Holy Scripture telling us of the Beginnings of the world and the prophets. All preparation for the arrival of our Lord Jesus Christ.

I have no Tattoo atm BUT I'm getting twin tattoo's with my son on his 18th Birthday. Celtic knotwork with a Celtic Cross!

    Judge NOT others!

  • Furthermore why would God or Christ condemn someone for showing their zeal for the Lord? What it comes down to is that people should mind their own business because as God himself declared Judge not lest ye be judged. Meaning it is not our place to judge others, but God's. What we are to do as Christians however is treat all men and women as brothers and sisters. Not just those in our churches, towns and neighborhoods, but EVERYONE, even those who would judge us or those who mean to hurt us.

  • And Molotov was right on when he said this was speaking about tattooing or marking ones self with occultic signs and symbols, this was done not only to ask spirits for protection but also the love one who died, I hardly think tattoing ones self with a bible verse or something spiritually meaningful that has to do with God and nothing malevolent or occultic has anything to do with honoring the dead or asking spirits for protection.

  • Actually Balsology the creation story is mentioned twice, it is told again right after the first time, leading many theologians to believe that the original creation of earth may have been damaged or destroyed in the battle with Satan and the fallen angels. Also the passage in Leviticus that people believe has to do with tatoos doesnt say tattoo, the Hebrew is most closely translated to English as saying, do not mark or scar your flesh in honor of the dead.

  • @Jonathan56007 I have another theory about why the creation story was told twice. The initial creation was the creation of the spirit (consciousness) thats why God said "in our image" the second creation story describes the physical body being created from physical matter (dust).

  • Hey Molotov: I'll say it again, I was one of those who criticized your tattoo and the bible's criticism. My point was, you had made the arguement that people must follow what the bible says, not just what they want the bible to say. By that reasoning, it doesn't matter how obscure a passage is, it's still there and it's still important. The creation story is only mentioned once, yet you hold to it quite firmly. Doesn't that sound just a little hypocritical?

  • @Balsology Context my friend, context, is important not the number of times that a message is mentioned.

Leviticus 19;19 states “You shall keep my statutes. You shall not let your cattle breed with a different kind. You shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed, nor shall you wear a garment of cloth made of two kinds of material.

If you ignore the symbolism you must assume that God was actually stating that it is a sin to wear a cotton blend shirt. Context is important.

  • Comment removed

  • Oh, look, two retarded people arguing about who is better at being retarded. Oh my god, I now want a tattoo of the scripture that says you cant get tattoos. That would be beautiful.

  • haha talk about moving the goal posts.

  • I've been struggling on this issue for a while now, Thanks for clearing that up Molotov!

  • @AmericanPowerBase Is Molotov a christian-hating communists? Its his gun of choice. Go read your bible and quit fliping out.

  • Wait a second. So your rationale is that if God does it, it's okay for you to do it? Really? I hope you don't start going around smiting people and invading villages to leave nothing alive (including children and pets).

  • Perfectly clear: when it comes to tattoos and the Bible, studying context and scholarship is a way of clarifying the Bible's meaning. When it comes to homosexuality and the Bible, studying context and scholarship is just awful!

    Got it.

  • Bull. you are picking to completely ignore that passage and make excuses for it. Do not say "well god made this description of himself that alludes that he did this but it is probably a metaphor" and "they only said it once" then just point at gay people to distract everyone from the point. What the hell does gay rights have to do with a tattoo? With those justifications, I guess we can disregard the water into wine miricle and an exclusive trinity. Only brought up once in the bible.

  • ISAIAH 44:5

    GOD approves "Christian tattoos"

  • The bible said over and over DO NOT LOOK LIKE THE WORLD. We are not of this world. So you make the call, if pagens mark themselves with things that they like and are of this world why would we as a Christian copy them by marking ourselves.

I do not condem my brother but warn others do not take this lightly.

  • @TheAK47nut

Pagans also comb their hair, wear jeans, grow their nails, wear jewelry....

  • My gawd you're hypocritical.

  • So how many times does God have to say something before he really means it? Or is cherry picking ok, provided you say it isn't cherry picking afterwards?

  • @ShoelaceNoose Did you miss the part about context?

  • take the plank out of your eye before taking a splinter out of someone elses. However illuminatitv if you studied theology adequately you would have concluded a very different denomination of Christianity. There is not one way to read the bible, it is entirely subjective deciding what God wants you to know through the bible. Deciding what is of God and what is of your own prejudices is difficult. Honest seeking of truth uses both the rational and emotional mind in balance.

  • Also let's take Sam's theory of "Christians who have Tattoos and dislike homosexuality aren't Christian at all." Hey Sam there a people who convert to Christianity who had tattoos before they got saved so when they gave their hearts to Jesus I guess that made them an auto-hypocrite?

  • I would contest the notion of dragons automatically being demonic icons..... Considering the number of objects and symbols which fall in and out of use as "occultic" or immoral symbols.

  • Just for theological argument's sake, does the bible not talk about the "mark of the beast"? I personally believe the Mark is more of a metaphysical thing, perhaps evil one holds in their hearts and minds but it's just something to consider. Personally I wouldn't get a tattoo, man was created in God's image, so why would we want to set ourselves apart from him? Idk if that explaination makes any sense but it's an interesting discussion.

  • @PRSpl4yer Here's how I see it, it's the consciousnesses behind the tattoo that matters, God looks at our hearts and has understanding far greater than we do, and he is forgiving. I don't have any tattoos, but I believe it is wrong of us to judge each other or for us to assume that we are the keeper of God's laws that we should cast the first stone. Such flawed thinking. Pretty nitpick of anyone to point fingers at someone else for a tattoo when we have ourselves to focus on.

  • I don't know about you, but if I saw a dude with a tattoo on his thigh I would think that he might be gay. BUT NOT LITERALLY ONLY IN THE DIVINE METAPHORICAL SENSE!!!
