The reason the video skips is because there's a ton of unbuffered darkness at the end of the song to make the first parts seem higher quality.

When airships - particularly the Zeppelin rigids - were first built in flew in the early 1900s, hydrogen was the only lift gas available, helium, was readily available only in the 1920s. It is also cheaper to produce, then Helium - it costs a few cents per cubic meter, Helium cost several dollars per cubic meter, not a minor consideration when you have to fill several gas cells. Hydrogen was relatively safe in airships as long as fundumental safety precautions were closely observed.

If Zeppelin is a word, I have no idea what it means. It has nothing to do with airships. The Zeppelin Company was founded by Ferdinand Adolf Heinrich August Graf von Zeppelin and is obviously named after him. Zeppelin has become slang for "rigid body airship" due to the company's popularity.

To be honest, a helicopter is technically what I'm thinking of, but... Well, look at the prima vista and the hilde gardes in FF9, or, for a change in pace, the highwind in FF7.

(In the later FFs, the airships got less and less believable, look at the ones in the AMV someone made for this from FFXII. Eugh.)
