@naborghsoj08 I'm thinking of getting Vue, in the furst place for water simulation. But I also need to get that splashing and stuff when it hits the shore, is that possible too? Didn't see it on the website and also not in this demo.
The demo itself is really good! One of the vids that made me interested in the program!
@musician1971ait's possible with vue's function editor/aimated terrain with water material but it's a lot easier and realistic when combined with 3ds max, maya, cinema 4d, softimage's ice, lightwave 3d...or import an animated water from real flow, houdini, blender or compost it in eyeon's fusion or after effects
@naborghsoj08 that's pretty amazing. I have a version of Vue 8 I got free. Would that come with the capability to make this kind of scene and animation? I feel if its free it probably won't lol
@powerslayer94 no this is not from pictures. I made this 100% in computer. It is all 3d computer graphics. If you don't know vue yet visit their website at e-onsoftware
@dunmer2007 i think your computer is more powerful than mine but I can't say anything about ati cards maybe it will run just fine. The render time is about 22 hours...i reduced the quality to speed up the rendering. I removed displacements and other details including clouds
isnt possible that you make a tutorial of this? i will really be thankful , not only me lot of other new beginners as well . :) you did a great job :)
@kazmiasad we'll see if time allows me...my fave part here is when the camera moves along with the waves...I think vue manual has tutorials for making waves
@weeksan yeah if you animate your atmosphere water will also animate...it is time dependent....try to open the function editor for water object and you fill find that node
Is that the regular "displaced water surface"? I've never seen an animation of it. Really nice, I'd love to get specifics on the shader/settings you used.
good work :D , i like the ocean movement and the color, in the future you can add more details, use procedural terrain with terrain fractal, ora add a mixed material and clouds:)
@VanniS83 i didn't include spectral clouds and hypertexture coz it will add more to the render time...the idea here is just to show the power of vue...i also tweaked the render settings ignore indirect lighting etc...in short this is not high quality render...i rendered this in 22 hours
@naborghsoj08 very good work !! i hope you 'll upgrade your pc soon !!! :D however if you add details, you will have a result of 5 or 6 days of render
@VanniS83 i didn't use procedural terrain because the animation does not require close up shots...standard terrains are advisable for distant shots and not close up shots coz again it will add more to the render time i don't have high end video card and not enough ram
wow
