  • I have no idea what this video was showing me, but all I know is that slowed down waiting room music sounds pretty damn awesome.

  • I have a lot of trouble doing this, I use the game cube controller, what happens is, i'll either not dash in the opposite direction or I'll move forward again starting a new dash animation.

  • So is he pretty much just pressting down then dashing again? Or is it done differently somehow?

  • how you do it??

  • cool^^

  • it takes more lag frames...

  • She's really fast now =)

  • her grip is better. Nintendo finally made those heels have some gripping power. =)

  • I can see troting in a another good tech in an arsenal :)

  • In the Video Response I use this tactic with my final KO move.

  • How are they not able to be applicable...This "trot" technique is perfect for instant pivots which causes your opponent to be surprised by a fast turn...I think thats applicable

  • Any practical technique can be made into something like this.

Go to a martial arts demo, taunt them for not actually accomplishing anything, and see how that turns out.

  • Bill, you brain is invalid.

  • Um yes by turning that fast it can create a decrease in a persons reaction time therefore its called a "surprise"...Plus This is NOT the the only footage of this move I have seen many videos with it being done by wolf...this move is not an attack its the beginning of a CHANCE to attack...I dont see how it does not work against a sandbag when its a type of movement...Do your research before you say something isnt applicable.

  • It's essentially a dash dance, and we know how effective those can be in melee, even when the actual mechanic is painfully simple.

  • Well, that's what they said about wavedashing and pivoting when it was first introduced... but look at how useful they are in today's matches

  • keep up these little discoveries here and there. it's what we need not only to keep ourselves busy because we dont have the game, but also to strengthen Brawl's competitive chances. w

  • God, do you even have a copy of the game? This isn't normal dash back/forth play.

    Slide != normal movement.

  • cool
