The amazing this is how quick these cats learn how to utilize their cutness to get attention. I have one that knows exactly how cute he is. He waddles up to people and rolls over on their feet stretching and showing off his short legs then looks at them with his paws crossed under his chin like "How adorable am I? Now love me!"
Please, everyone has problems. That is just saying let all un-natural short people die out, or multiple handicapped people that might not be able to walk or talk or understand. They still are taken care of. These cats were made by mother nature, and they need help. We can't just leave them to die because they have some issues. We need to help. How would you feel if you have unnatural short arms, and everyone wanted to leave you to die? Wouldn't you want help?
If you pity for munchkin cats, why not have pity people with aids or people with viruses? Breeding them is F'n mother nature? Take a good look out side your window and tell me "what is F'n mother nature?" I also suppose not buying munchkin cats would make things easier in life? Don't give them a home to go to? Your the one insulting mother nature.
look at the cat in this video, obviously over time, he's going to have neck problems because he wasn't meant to have different length front legs than backlegs...you can see him straining his neck and he doesn't even look like he wants to play because he's so uncomfortable...
I've had a munchkin for over a year and a half. Out of the 6 cats my family has between myself and my parents, my munchkin is absolutely the most loving, fun, energetic and playful of all of the cats. She can run around and jump just as if she had longer legs too. Unless you know someone who has an unhappy munchkin with health problems, you probably shouldn't write such harsh words based on a bored cat in a video.
actually, munchkins are very healthy cats. it's a natural mutation that even ally cats get sometimes. It doesn't stop them from surviving in the wild. I have one and it's super cut. It can't jump super high but it can run and cut corners super fast. I can understand how it might look uncomfortable for the cat but they are fine. trust me
actualy this breed of cat has no unatural problems different to any other cat, unlike the dog breeds, they have no spinal problems etc. and live perfectly happy lives

ANYONE WHO BUYS A MUNCHKIN CAT IS A SICK MOTHERFUCKER...stop buying them, stop creating the demand...these cats aren't normal...look at the cat, it can barely walk properly...cats aren't hotrods, where you have a big back wheel and small front one, these are creatures that are alive, stop fucking with mother nature...
It's the same thing as a dachshund, why don't you go yell at the people breeding and buying them? In fact, its better than buy a dachshund because where there has been no apparent problems with these cats dachshunds can have severe spinal issues. These cats run and play just as much as normal cats. They are generally happy and in no pain, like normal cats. so whats the issue if we think they're damn cute?

because as far as I know dachshunds have the same length back legs as front which means it's not a mutation but I'll have to look it up...
